Spot on, these are the biggies. I also always tried to race in the most competitive classes with the fastest drivers. I was lucky enough to race Formula A with a bunch of SuperNats winners and front runners, and it really opened my eyes. Racing with the best of the best really elevates your game, and when I did go and race Masters/Tag with "Guys my own age", I dominated.
When you become a winner, things get better and you start become faster. I have been seeing people getting jealous of you having better things than other drivers, so just ignore the hate because they're just jealous they didn't get the opportunities that some people get when they win.
6:55 this one is so true. When you found a new way to be faster then your competition, eventually after 2 of 3 races they find a better way to do it, getting you on the back foot.
Im a better driver than my teammates, but politics of who gets engine 1 and the most attention has weighed down my career. Any advice for how to work around this?
