I’m 24 and just getting into bow hunting, or wanting to at least. Haven’t even purchased the bow yet but I’m slowly edging towards the purchase but want to make sure I know as much as a beginner can know before diving in. This video helped a lot, thanks guys!

@@wahlow i would suggest you have some kind of chart that people can just read to figure out what they are looking for. Plus you would be able to get several different sponsors to help your company as well as fill the chart

I used to shoot with my Dad when I was young, now I'm 50 and divorced. I have a bunch of time and bow hunting is the only thing I want to do. I got my first compound bow!! Target and arrows. I have 6 months before deer season...time to practice every day. I hate heights so definitely blinds or stalking...I can't wait, feel like a kid on Christmas. I do bushcraft, camping and hiking so it's not like I don't know my woods...this is going to be AMAZING

God bless people like you who take the time out of your day to teach us. I'm not yet beginning but will be shortly. I spent most of my life skateboarding and collecting Jordan shoes. I'm tired of that lifestyle, but not skateboarding. That will always be apart of me. But I do want to hunt. I'm bout to be 37 and I figure it's never to late. Positive for this new experience, I will be closer to God our Heavenly Father out in nature. And not distracted by everything else.

Had the bow set up at a pro shop. It performed just fine ru-vid.comUgkxQEKUoxLWwayEDZR0NKB-5limn4MBU-2L . And I would say this is a good starting now that I could pass down to my son when he is older.But the package was missing the release and a nock was missing from one arrow.Dealing with customer support was terrible. They suggested I buy a new release rather than correct their own quality control issue because it’s to expensive for the. to ship it out from China.Update: manufacturer got back to me and resolved the issue. I retract the above statement.

Starting out a new adventure with my daughter...she says' "Dad, let's learn to Bow hunt". I need to start somewhere, Thank you for your honest information. Bow off the wall...Check your pull length...' does it feel right"..." here you go" $500 ea...." That's Bass Pro. Trust me, I'm not a BP hater...until we went to look for bows. That is one area B.P. is NOT a customer-friendly department. P.S. I did NOT drop a Grand that day. No faster way to turn off a future customer than; over smarting yourself and talking down to someone you want to enjoy a future of Hunting with their kids FYI

There's only about 25,000 bows on the market, should be super easy for a beginner to choose a good one lol. Really though, I am kind of having option paralysis with my first bow. I don't want to make the wrong decision.

Hey man, the simplest way is to shoot a few different brands at the bow shop! You will notice a difference in how the bow draws, how the bow weighs, the vibration. My biggest suggestion is to shoot a variety and ask a lot of questions at the pro shop!

Ok visited a shop for the first time yesterday I’m 30.5” draw comfortable with 65lbs (lefty) how much difference will the axel to axel make ? And over what distance ?

Matt, My personal recommendation with a draw length like that would be minimum 30" Axle to Axle. You'll find that a longer axle to axle with you draw length will feel and shoot more comfortably.

Im 14 and want to start whitetail hunting. Many people have suggested a tree stand to me over a blind, but i dont have enough money for a bow and a stand. Can i hunt with a bow out of a blind and still have a decent chance at a buck?

Hey Braden, ask around. Find a mentor locally, hang out at the bow shop and tell everyone your looking for info on bowhunting. The hunting community is friendly. Both treestands and blinds work its just a matter of where you are hunting.

My suggestion is to get familiar with bowhunting first and purchase a compound and then phase into longbows and recurves. The success rate is much lower and you may become more frustrated quickly.

This is where we all have to step up as outdoorsman and promote the sport instead of knocking others. The most important thing Landon is shooting a draw weight that you are comfortable with and can be accurate with!
