I probably shouldn’t be, but I can’t help but bu surprised by all the negative comments. Mr Fab2Ku has demonstrated a clever and effective way to accomplish a useful operation without expensive machinery. Thank you sir, I look forward to seeing more of your work!

45-year retired steamfitter here who has bent, bowed, twisted, shaped, stretched & tweaked all kinds of steel and still do in retirement with hobby projects. But, I have never tried bending angle although I did have a need on occasion but did not think it was feasible without some fancy expensive equipment. I can now add this technique to my mental data base should the need arise again. Thank you, sir. Nice video work too.

Did you ever take one that was bent and straighten it out?
@simpleagain1

@@cletusspucklerstablejeaniu1059 -yes that is my question too. Does steel lose its temper once bent or can it be re-bent to straighten it out. Also was this steel heated before bending or bent cold?

I am very surprised that the Angle to be bent - was not heated first. Nevertheless a great simple idea that works when you have very limited resources. Not many homes have a chunk of Railway Line handy at home.

I do not have any equipment to heat the angle bar.

Even if you do not have a rail, you can do this work even on a strong and big iron.

Thank You Sir🙏 I have done online shopping of gloves, but it is getting delayed, and always keep these old gloves away from the camera, because it has become very dirty, but definitely use during work,

@@isaacolubodun i understand that you are a religious weirdo for one. Two, you seem to be trying to explain to even yourself that b/c ‘no one really knows anything’ its okay for you to not have ‘success’. And furthermore, this demonstration on ‘bending’ angle iron is probably the second worst way.

@@zefrum3 I would have said it was a very effective way given the outlay, yes there are very effective machine tools and bending jigs, but if you don't have one or have access to one this is a way of making do, I have used a hydraulic pipe bender to bend flat strip (side on) with home made dies, it took a while but I achieved a smooth constant curve, my bender was very much like his without the hammering, I applaud the mans ability to achieve with so little.
