I am a DAV with the US Arny as well. How has it been going with you? Have you gotten involved in the GOVCON space and have you obtained any contracts yet?
Thank you DR.Kizzy Parks for being one of the teachers concerning Government Contracts that has been extremely consistent over the years you can see your compassion and love and patience kindness in your teaching but most of all we see your dedication and determination to see other eagles fly just wanted you to know you are appreciated keep up the good work🎉🎉🎉
Just watched this video. Been watching you for a while. And just logged into the "Introduction to Proposal Writing" course today. Thanks for everything. 🙏
Kizzy, this was awesome content, I definitely purchased the offer for today however, I feel like I got a lot more from this free video in relation to the offer today. But hey we must pay to play, I’ll still use that to my advantage. See you at the top
Kizzy in regard to "Our past performance includes" (Time Stamp 36:55), refer to our personal work experience from our personal past employers, developmental training, etcetera? I heard when you said that you would go over that, but I keep getting side tracked with other tasks today for some reason.
Just bought it Today. I have 3 bids in progress and hope to find some tips how to put the best presentation of our bid in to win them. In Aug our team did win one middleman contract so far.
I've wondered about this...can you use a large company like Waste Management, or specifically in my case the Marriott, as a sub contractor on a small business set aside contact?
Thanks Dr Parks, I have been watching your videos and I can say that you are really helpful. I am about to create my LLC and my area of expertise is in Electrical construction. Should I create llc with generic name with electrical contractor NAICS code?
Wasn't touched up on, but you get the contract but government pay out is 30 days. How do you Pay vendors/subs before then? I assume they won't want to wait 30 days
@@KizzyParksWhen you subbed out your contracts to a sub-contractor did you pay taxes on the entire awarded amount of the contract as the prime or did you only pay taxes on the portion/profit that you received ? Thanks in advance for your response!
Hey Kizzy I was told today that in order to be a middle man you have to do at least 51 percent of the work in that field of choice. This came from an Apex Acelerator instructor???
Kizzy Thanks!! How are we supposed to pay the subs??? Am I supposed to have that liquidity available? or is there a net 30 vs net 45 overlap? please someone help. i dont get it.
Invoices. The sub invoices you and you invoice the government afterwards. You need to put some type of statement in the contract you create with your sub that you will pay them within a specific time after they invoice you
Either works. Sometimes we pay the sub before the work has begun and sometimes we wait to pay them after we’ve been paid. All subs signs NDAs, independent contract service agreements and 1099 docs. You can find them here. www.gcwdocs.co/
hi Kizzy. I am learning so much from you and your guests. I am new to I You talk about middleman a lot but this thing caught my eye. ----- "Individuals who engage in the middleman strategy within government contracting can face jail time or prosecution for defrauding the government, and it is important to ensure compliance with self-performance requirements and spread the workload across multiple companies."""
@kizzyParks Thank you for all your knowledge and the content you provide. I would like to consult with you,I would like to focus more more on international government contracts and some with African contractors. I have a IT background and like to offer strategy, functional services and implementation
@KizzyParks How common is it to find contracts on Sam ( Say out of every 10), that do not follow FAR rules and if not found on Sam then where? - Thanks in advance
I enjoy your work. However, the "middleman" strategy can lead to fraudulent activities and jail time. "The middleman strategy" in government contracting has led to an array of business people going to prison for defrauding the government. The middleman approach to executing government contracts can lead to SBA compliance trouble and potential legal consequences from the Department of Justice."
@@KizzyParks I'm confused. Does this middle man strategy actually violate any regulation or are you saying that you can do it and don't be afraid? Is it illegal or legal?
