How to Bind FS-i6S with Receiver 🤝 Flysky i6S, iA6B

Before you can fly, your transmitter needs to get acquainted with the receiver so they can become BFFs and constantly communicate with each other (but transmitter does most of the talking). In this video I'll show you how to bind your Flysky i6S with a receiver (in this case, the Flysky iA6B 6-channel airplane receiver (though it can be used for quads as well)). KEEP IN MIND: in order to bind, the receiver must match the transmitters radio protocol, in this case Flysky's AFHDS2A protocol.

Hi Adem, I would-be like to bind 2 Receivers to One model ( 1 in the truck,the otter in the trailer ) is this posible with the Flysky i6s? Thx

Hey! When I bind the FS-i6S it says that the bind is ok but nothing else is happening. Also when I try to calibrate the QGroundControl Radio it tells me that 0 channel is detected :/

To bind a 3rd new model to the Flysky i6s, does the TX have to be in “model 3” first before pressing “bind”?

Hello Adam, can this flysky bind 2 receiver the same frequency? I am using it for my semi truck, one for the truck and the other for the trailer to synchronize lights, i have seen tutorial for fs i6x and it works, but no tutorial video for this model, i hope you can help.

Hi Just want to know to set up channel 1-4 because in your video and also in my transmitter i can set up from channel 5-10 but from channel 1-4 I can't Can you please tell me how? Thanks

Can you bind 2 recevers so i can youse 1 transmitter for 2 models.

Yes, you can have multiple model profiles, and you'll need one for each receiver you bind.

nice vid brother. one quick question, I wanted to bind it with a fixed wing with 2 flaps switches, reverse throttle, gyro 3 switches, nav lights and one extra channel. does this fs-i6s compatible to what I need?

It should work. It can do up to 10 channels. Not sure how the reverse throttle would work though.

Hi, you mentioned your transmitter has the latest April 2020 firmware. I've looked for this on the Flysky website but can only find a 2019 version. I'd really appreciate it if you could let me know where you got the 2020 version, as well as the difference between the new vs old firmware. Thanks.

Hi Adam, I love your videos, I am a newbie to FPV and I got myself a FlySky FS-i6S and use it with the simulator and love it. Recently I bought a Mobula7 and when I bind it I get "Turn Off RX" like you get in the video above at 2.28, however my message just stays on the screen and the radio keeps beeping? Any idea what I might be doing wrong? Do I need to change somthing in Betaflight? Thanks in advance. MHG

Hi! Glad you're enjoying the videos! Have you tried turning your radio OFF, then powering on your quad and putting the rx into bind mode, and THEN turning your radio on and binding? I think the order will make a difference.

Hi! Yes! I'll be going through every feature in this new i6S series of videos. As far as I can tell, there is actually not a huge difference with the latest firmware update, at least in terms of extra features.

Nice video ta. These controllers are such amazing value for money the receiver itself is approx half the cost, or it was when i bought it 3.5 yrs ago. Have you a link for the latest firmware update please? And maybe a tutorial how to update. Thanks

Ps do you know what range this transmitter has?. I have modded my controller with a 2s 1500mah battery which should help extend the range further as its 2 volts above the normal supply (you can adjust max and min voltage alarm in menu for the custom battery)
