Man, I'm tempted to find another pair just to do this! I wonder how a light bleach would work just to fade some of the patches and not fully bleach them all. Looks, awesome man. Great job!

Jo you Said you’ve had a problem with a other pair in the washing machine I’ve did it too and a little bit of the sole paint got off how did you fixed it?
i didnt fix the paint chip unfortunately. i just left it as is. i think the only way to properly fix the paint chips would be to strip the paint entirely and repaint it for a smooth and even paint job.
Hey nice Video! I just wanted to ask a question. So when I do it, can the bleach ruin the material so the shoe is ruined and can the bleach go trough the shoe and and can destroy everything like the shoesole? Pls give me an answer
Just subbed, did this to my pair today. There was some bleach stains on the lighter part of the shoes tho. It looked yellow. How did you get rid of the bleach stains. Currently have them dunked in hydrogen peroxide. Had to mix it with water tho since i didn’t have enough
The paint chipped on the my soles due to me being and idiot and throwing my shoes in the washer with no protection on the shoes lol. But bleach can possibly weaken the glue if it is used excessively. Also I don’t think you will be needing to use that much bleach to get this project done soo my answer is No it will not affect the shoe glue in this project.
Hey, great video. I just wanted to ask if there is a risk in doing this, is there a chance that the sneakers get ruined? Also is there a specific way to clean the sneakers with dish soap? I'm new in this type of customizing sneakers and I'd really like to do this, but I'm a bit scared I will fuck the sneakers up.
Bleach does deteriorate the material so I wouldn’t recommend bleaching it for too long. But if you do my process you should be totally fine ! Bleach stains only occur if you do not wash the bleach out completely so just make sure to hand wash them very throughly. Hydrogen peroxide is to eliminate the bleach. After that you will need to wash the shoes very throughly
So just to double check the bleaching process should be done in 50% bleach & 50% water correct? If so what would happen if it was done in 100% bleach? Just curious, thanks
Yes 50/50 to be safe. It may cause some bleach burns when drying (if that’s the case wash the shoes again) and it can also be difficult to wash out the bleach completely if you use 100% bleach
