I don't even recommend these things anymore- just get the cheap "one man" brake bleeder bottle with the megnet. You pump the brake fluid out with the brake peddle. It makes less mess and is cheaper. You never get all the air out using this tool and have to usually push it out with the brake peddle anyway. I can still use this tool to take some fluid out of the reservoir while filling in new brake fluid.
Unfortunately, as a car mechanic, I do not agree with your comment. The most effective method is always vacuum venting. We all like something different. This video serves as a tutorial, so I don't want to argue in the comments.
@@easywork2 I agree you showed us how this crappy tool works good. It's still a crappy tool. I have yet to see a steady stream of brake fluid expel from it. I have however wrecked it after first use because fluid get sucked into the other end wrecking the gun. Especially if you plan to pump the brakes at the end for a steady stream to close the bleeder. It's a piece of crap. I will never use it again for this and i will just pump it all into a bottle manually VIA brake peddle.
@@easywork2 Plus the bottle that collects the fluid is too small… what they want us to do…. Empty the bottle out 50 times as per procedure. What a big idea.
@@rebelcave8556 But you never get constant current. The vacuum draws air under the bleeder screw. The screw would have to be sealed, which is not realistic when it is allowed. So yes, you will still have air in the hose. On the contrary, if the air is vented by pressure, the hose will be constantly full (it should be). Just look at the color and volume of the absorbed liquid. You obviously don't know how this system works. And also how some systems work with ABS that cannot be bleed manually.
@@rebelcave8556 Next time you have to do it according to the instructions in the video and you will have your brakes perfectly bled. This machine is not bad. It is a very good tool.
