I went down the black rabbit hole 🕳️ trying this out for a little while I was so results oriented that I wasn't getting any better... And it wasn't until I broke All the steps down independently that I was able to make progress.
Great video. You really provide excellent descriptions of the mechanics of the drill as well as the learning objectives. Your content is approachable for shooters at every skill level. Thanks for sharing your expertise.
Thanks for this video didn’t know how to do this until I saw this video, being a newbie in competition shooting I am definitely doing the incorrect way with a lot of tension which I did not know I was doing until I saw your video, thank you! I am wondering if you if you have any tips for me on how to at least be competitive with my 3.5 length 2011 pistol which is my only one, thanks again!
I appreciate your videos The amount of knowledge you have is insane Your able to explain what the shooter should be thinking and proper techniques during your drills
I noticed a significant improvement in time trying this when someone gave me tips. Seeing this makes me want to try on more than 2 targets. Thanks for the breakdown.
The time should be about the same as if your were shooting a bill drill on a single target…. We did this drill a while ago, the Blake drill at 10 yards targets 1yard apart…. Great for pushing transitions
You could try paying attention to the video. This has nothing to do with the target array. We are talking about key principles that will assist you in blending any target array. The only principle that could change would be the confirmation level that would need to be applied to the specific target. I start with the targets open and in a simple configuration to aid in student retention and execution. My videos are about cultivating skill not just shoot this drill. The target arrays are setup to reenforce or exploit specific detail I want you to pay attention to. I could work on several different skills and the target array could look the exact same.
@@Broken_Arrow_Defense_Group_LLC Agreed - I have no problem with teaching basic transitions with whatever target array you want using whatever world salad works for you. It’s just that when you time a drill on YT and set a standard to aspire to , it’s just a bit of fun to give it a name - I’m calling this the Skinny Blake !
