Thanks for watching this video where I show you three easy and powerful ways to blend two images together. We start with the most basic way to blend images, using the Layer Opacity option in the Layers panel. The Opacity option lets us quickly change the transparency level of a layer so the image on the layer below it can show through. From there, we move on to layer blend modes. Blend modes are different ways that layers can interact with each other, and they're especially great for blending a texture with a photo. And finally, we learn how to blend two images seamlessly together using layer masks! Unlike the Opacity option or the blend modes which blend entire layers at once, a layer mask lets us show and hide different parts of the layer, making them perfect for blending images. We'll learn how we can quickly blend two photos together using a layer mask and a simple black-to-white gradient. You know those old school student photos that blend in a baby photo in the corner? I'm still having trouble trying to make that work and yet, I can't really find how to do that.
I have painting I made, I took a photo of it and want to add water colour splashes on the photo to add detail to the photo but I only want to add it to some sections of the subject of the photo. any help?
