why do you use buckram? can I not only use Sinamay to make a hat?? I am a real beginner... I usually do leather hats:) your videos are soooooooooo inspiring:)
I use buckram for fabric covered bases. For sinamay hats, you can use three layers of sinamay or one layer of buckram with two layers of sinamay on top.
Hi, another great tutorial. Not used buckram before, so a rookie question.I note that millinery suppliers sell buckram, with or without adhesive. Can you confirm what type I should buy as I will cover the buckram with silk dupion, and another with linton tweed fabric -a boucle. Thanks again.
