Let's learn how to block that volleyball! How to block a volleyball was one of the first skills that I learned how to do when I was a volleyball youngin. A good block can go a long way with the defense. When learning how to block there are some very important things to remember! Standing Tall, Fingers Splayed Wide and Firm and Jumping straight up and straight down. Let's dive a little bit deeper into how to block a volleyball.

Hey buddy. I feel ya. Being 151cm sure isn't helping when becoming a volleyball newbie member. My coach even advised me to focus on receiving and who knows might actually become a libero one day.(which I highly doubt that lmao)

I suggest working on your vertical jumping! It doesnt really matter of your height, its matters of how your legs are! :)

Great video!! But one important factor I think you forgot to mention is to press over the net. If you don’t press your hands, you can get tooled easily. OR if u don’t press and actually have ur wrist bent a little backwards and try to create a soft block so it goes high into the air and defenders can easily get there.

Hey Koko, where I am living right now there is no teams around me. But I am currently forming a team with my towns YMCA. It is coming around nicely, but I am scared that I won’t be able to play 4 years in Highschool, I am in 8th grade, so I can possibly play in college. Okay I don’t think you will be able to get this video out but if I can’t see it at least others can. My first volleyball game is on Tuesday and I just started practice I am freaked out, at home I don’t have a volleyball to use for practice so I couldn’t do that. If you have the time could you make a video on ways to calm down before your first game😊😊
