I absolutely love this I have been trying the find the best way to block the project I’m working on I have a question 🙋‍♀️ So I’m making and granny square throw blanket with 120 5 row squares and I’ve already started to assemble it as I go it’s made with 100% acrylic yarn and I was wondering what you think the best way to block it so it’s soft and has a nice drape to it would be thanks ❤

I'd just wash it. Blankets get washed so I think it's the best way to treat them once they're all done 🤗

When you machine wash do you use hot or cold water? My washer is messed up and only runs hot, should I do a cold wash in the sink instead and then dry? I’m making a poncho. Thank you!

You'll want to follow the care instructions on the yarn label. 🤗

I'm making a granny square blanket, the largest squares are 13 rounds made with right side facing for all rounds. The centers are a bit twisted, which of these methods would you suggest? I thought I would lightly steam then pin to the shape I want. What do you think? I think this is one of the best how to block acrylic tutorials, thank you.

Thank you! 🤗 I'd steam it. Try very lightly at first and add a little more if needed. When it's warm you might be able to reshape it a bit too. So add some steam, fiddle with it, then add a bit more if needed. Hope that helps!
