HOW TO BLOCK/ COVER BROWS | Halloween 101

Here is how I personally block my brows, when I want a fool-proof cover up. Hope it helps!

I used this corrector in the video:

But it's from a really expensive palette that I don't expect non-pro MUA's to have. A great alternative is the LA Girl Pro Conceal Orange Corrector: go.magik.ly/ml...
I use it all the time but couldn't find it for this video, so I went with the other one.

So excited to see you post a new video today! what is the best product(s) to remove the glue from the brows? would make up remover, or soap and water do the trick, or is there a specific product you would recommend?

Great question! Just water does the trick! So it always comes off as I'm cleansing my face. I usually give it a little rub-a-dub before cleansing everything.

Ooooh I’d love to see the final result!! Be sure to practice the brow cover up before the big day because it takes a lot of practice to get just right!

This brow cover up is fucking bombbb. I really needed this thank you!!! I have dark, wiry, bushy brows and have felt really discouraged. I apparently just need to keep practicing to get them in check lol!

I’m so glad you like it and I really hope it helps! The trick is practicing over and over. After making this video, I covered my brows a ton more times afterwards and I’ve gotten better since. It’s all about trial and error!

I have a question: What can you do when the bottom of the brow(-cover)/layer of glue (especially in the front part) lifts after a while when you already put on foundation and doesn't stick to your skin anymore? Like do you go over it with water to smooth it down again or what can you do to even prevent it maybe?

I think I trim my brows to short, because they don't want to lay down, so I'm guessing to block them I need to let them grow a bit.

What is the "thing" about Elmer's glue that makes it work better than others? We don't have it here in Finland, so I have to try and find something as close as possible... Or if there's any other Finns here, do you know a brand to recommend?

It has a really soft consistency, but great sticking power and it’s SUPER water soluble, so just a little drop will make it melt instantly and thin it out so you get a very smooth layer. I’m certain it’s doable with other glue sticks, just try to get a better brand one instead of the cheapest you can find. I find that the cheaper ones are stiffer and don’t stick as well.

Poderia ter publicado esse vídeo antes de eu ter gravado os meus vídeos de Halloween 😒 hahahaha Usei uma técnica bem parecida e gostei do resultado. Único problema que tive foi pra fazer esfumado por cima, porque a textura não é a mesma da pele, mas deu bastante certo pra uma primeira vez. E usei cola Pritt ☺️😘
