Thank you very much ! 🙏 I’ve been teaching for 6+ years and training for 15 ! (Did a bit of Muay Thai and MMA) and now hope I can make it as the first Kyokushin fighting channel out there. Any suggestion (on how to improve or content welcome) 👊🔥
@@ManueLyrics there are indeed subtitles if you click on « cc ». Auto subs are going to appear and are on point because English is not my mother tongue 😉
Merci beaucoup pour votre commentaire ça fait super plaisir ! 🙏😉 Je donne cours à Mons. Mais je crois savoir qu’il’ y a des dojos plus près de chez vous à Wavre et Waterloo (voire Bruxelles) 🔥
Thank you, nice helpful information! I wonder if there is a Japanese name fore this specific technique? I'm studying different Karate techniques and try to draw lines to contact sports. Does anyone know if there's is a Japanese term for the technique?
My pleasure ! In Japanese uke means block (or rather the idea of receiving/catching). Forearm is kote. So it could be called Kote Uke. But this is slightly a combination of both words I find convenient to use in that context. It actually exists for other purposes against punch attacks, but could be named that even for kicks. Osu. Don’t hesitate to subscribe, more incoming 🙏😁
Nice man, I also train beginners since a few years. I'm very interested in the karate world and I constantly try to evolve. Is there a possibility to contact you privately, I always like to have a few connections to different Marial arts and dojos. But only if you're interested, don't wanna be to annoying ;) Greetings, Oss
