Is it necessary to round brush the hair if you're going in with hot tools anyway? Can you get the same look if you were to just smooth with a flat brush and then use hot tools? Or just pin your sections to cool after round brushing? Why the extra step?
Hey! Great question. Yes you can just use hot tools and set your curls. Blow drying the hair first will stretch and polish the hair, it will also create more body and shape from the root area. Hot tools will shrink the follicle. Paying clients should always be blow dried first.
