Very good! I am always telling my Navy shipmates we should have our reunion on a ship. Everything is included, and we can get a drink package in lieu of a hospitality room. The problem is that while we Navy guys have no problem with ships, some wives do, so it is like herding cats to get everyone on board figuratively and in actuality. As before I can't express my admiration for the great service of Princess.

Great video, I attended my best friend's cruise wedding and it was great, but only got to see the embarkation wedding. You definitely gave me more of an idea of how it is during the cruise days. I just got engaged and thinking of doing this as well 😊

This was VERY VERY interresting. Thank you for producing a video specifically for this subject. However (me being stupid as usual...) there were one thing I really didn't understand. Do the cruise line see the wedding as a totally different 'thing' from the cruise itself, or do the wedding guests have a basic inside cabin included in the package, and then everyone can upgrade if they like? For example: let's say that I would have been invited(!)😄 but since I am from the UK could I have booked my cabin from the UK (unrelated to the wedding booking) and then just joined on the cruise, or would I have needed to be booked within the wedding package?

The group booking is separate from the wedding arrangements. Someone could book the cruise outside the group but still attend the wedding. We had a couple of people that did that. It’s the purgative of the happy couple - they can insist that all attending book through their designated, but in the end they determine the guest list and the final numbers for the wedding events themselves.

Just watching now! Question about marriage licence....and I think your daughter did mention when she was on, but just confirming - you need one before the cruise, correct? Thanks!

There's several options - you can get married ahead of time, you can also get married at sea with a different wedding license, and you can get married at a port with a license for the port's country. Some of those options (especially at sea weddings) vary by each cruise line. Regardless of what method the couple chooses, the details must be worked out with the cruise line before, and in some situations the marriage license may need to be purchased/arranged before the cruise to bring onboard for the ceremony. When booking this will be asked and figured out well ahead of the cruise date.

We just looked up the packages and they seem to have increased since ur daughter’s wedding. Depending on what package you pick the prices varies. Check bout the Princess website for current rates and packages.
