I have a lenovo ideapad 3 and I can finally play fortnite again. It used to lag me to death as soon as I got into a gunfight, now I can play and win. Thanks mate 💯
tysmmm this got me from 60-70fps to 120-140 on a hp laptop tysmmm u helped alot ive been trying to play for over a month but i couldnt u got urself a new sub
WTF. my computer runs like 30 fps at lowest grapthics and plenty of optimizations. you guys got an exclusive budget laptop or something? mine has 8gb ram and alright specs. still wondering how you guys pull off such fps.
from 100 to 300 fps i couldn’t believe because it was always lacking and the latency was terrible never matched my refresh rate or anything and now is high! i’ll be making sure to share this ty sm gng
Dude....thank you ....finally when I went to check GPU drivers my refresh rate was set as unknown.....for some reason after changing my SSD it had disabled the intel display driver and once I enabled it fps went from stuck on 7 to 120( we're not pros lol) Thanks for the tips.....I had tried every other one of your options on multiple videos before I finally found the issue.
Back then my fps and ping numbers were the same, example= I have 35 ping then i have 35 fps which is very bad. Now my ping is around 15-20 and my fps is around 70-100+ because of this video thanks so much codelife.
you can make a video on CRU, show ppl how to slightly overclock their monitors. For example instead of 279.96hz you can change it to what you payed for 280hz in CRU, some monitors can support up to 10hz more than their original hz.
Thanks! 😊 I went from 60 in game to 130! It may have not been 500 plus fps but I also highly felt no delay and it was just so much smoother! Thanks codelife!
i have a question so what happens if i update my driver settings and like cpu settings will all this go back to normal or what happens if that makes sense
When i click ctrl shift and esc when i go on top of fortnite and i try chagne the priority to high it says the operation could not complete can someone help me
would a Intel Core i5-10400F up to 4.3G,GeForce RTX 2070 8G GDDR6,32G DDR4,2T SSD, 6 cores. Run Fortnite Good with all low settings, performance mode, low meshes, and one or two things open in the background. With a 165 hz monitor?
IF UR EXPERIENCING ANY DEGRADED PERFORMANCE ON UR PCS ON FORTNITE, IT IS LITERALLY JUST FORNITE! Epic Games KEEPS UPDATING THEIR GRAPHICS ENGINE TO LOOK BETTER! UNE5 IS BECOMING DEMANDING DUE TO GPU UPDATES WITH RTX! THEY WANT YOU TO BE PLAYING AT MAX SETTINGS WITH AN RTX CARD. For instance they are deadass telling the fortnite community to upgrade their gpus to work with fortnite. Could be good because people would have a reason for upgrading their gpus to something newer and better. If ur on a low end pc playing fortnite, what are YOUR, 1% lows, highest fps ur getting and lmk your gpu usage too!
hm? Nah just get a slightly better software to keep up with low end pc performance, they upgrade to optimize and that's all I've been seeing. My pc compared from other chapters now have been running fortnite just fine
@@kagome6647 i have a 4060, should be able to keep up but didnt preform that well with fortnite compared to other games also running Unreal 5, with DLSS there wasnt many frame buffers. Also when the newest season of the chapter came out, and all the new advancements came out, it really made the game dip down a bit by a handful of frames, and i wasnt the only one experiencing that. It just happens with companies that try to integrate new technologies into their games. The newest versions of Unreal Engine 5 is very new and not too too demanding but still requires a good GTX or RTX or AMDs Radeon cards to run those games at max quality settings using DLSS and upscaling to increase performance so you don’t get those issues. Fortnite had issues doing that at the start if this new season, dont know if it still is because i went and still am on vacation, but again, new technologies, especially with the new line of 40 Series Cards and the RX 7900 cards. Just an Unreal Engine issue with new gpus capabilities making it harder to run on old gpus, they do fix those issues with patches tho.
Fortnite also used to run on Unreal Engine 4 which was initially released in 2014, and i know they used Unreal Engine for Resident Evil 4 the HD remaster, and used the same Unreal Engine version for the release of Fortnite and Unreal Engine 5 didnt come out until 2022.
@@kagome6647 no Fortnite is more GPU rather CPU or even APU because of the load it has when running. Obv running in in performance mode, it will prolly run fine at low settings 1080p or 1440p but touching high or ultra settings at 1440p with no hiccups on just CPU would be kinda bad ngl. Not to mention if you have other apps open that also use cpu like recording, if you have a gpu youll be using nvenc or the newer one for rtx cards, cpu encoder is usually x264 (its really shitty on cpus because it doesnt make sense to use that as an encoder when u have a insane gpu, only for crazy crazy cpus that can handle that load). You are using CPU still even when having a GPU to play games because if its only CPU instead of GPU, CPU usage would be sky rocketing, and GPU would be like nothing, prolly around 10% or so and that just windows, meaning that your games gonna run at hoe good your CPU is compared to your GPU. So, I believe Fortnite is more GPU intensive than CPU.
im not sure about that one, its more what gpu u have not necessarily what brand. id be using directx 12 for the fps but my system is limited bc my power supply cannot keep up with the whole pc so my performance is down a bit, i have a couple of people who run directx 12 and have a huge boost in fps over the other options bc the game is making ur gpu run at its full power rather that performance mode that only uses like 40% of the gpu, performance mode was made to lighten the load of both cpu and gpu
@@umittekin3535 is checked. I'm on fullscreen and when it happens I switch to windowed fullscreen and it doesn't do that anymore. if I exit the game and enter again it will do it. I did everything codelife says in the clips
