That is a good idea!👍 I'm a former 11BRAVO from the early 80s and I was just using the boot blouse over the top of the boot. I'd wish I knew that way. 🇺🇸😊
That’s how I did my boots, I used big elastic bands. My instructor had your US elastic hook bands. Never saw them In Australian Army. But that’s how we do it. Just need good elastic bands. Well done soldier 👌
@@josuevelasquez9186 But it is the proper way of doing things🤣 blouse your pants in Polish Army and you will be laughed at that you dont tuck your pants into boots🤣
In Spain the legionaries use a black elastic strap to fix the pant inside of the boot. You can easily see them use it but this keeps the pant very fitted to the leg. It is useful to reduce the noise while you run but in the spanish Marines we prefer the way of the video.
Better way to do it is to just fold your sock down one time, and roll your pants into that fold with the blouser beneath it. It’ll hold just as secure, mud and water and Cyprus stumps won’t break it, and bugs won’t crawl up your legs.
Theyet you wear Nike special forces boots? About to go into AROTC here. Don't want a pair, but just wanted to know if they actually allowed Nike, just cause it's primarily a sport brand.
Well you may have tucked pants not enough info boot, because i have albo a pair of ACU's and while im tucking them in there is no way they would flay away. The problem with blousing your pants with twisters is that they come off boot very easy while kneeling, raising your feet, or simply sitting. I have seen a tons of photos of army, marines and other branches with their socks shown when pants went up. That way you not only limit your blood circulation due to the presence of the band on your leg, but also make it easier for bugs and debris going into your boot. While properly tucking those pants inside boot there is no such possibility. Im have been wearing at least 5 pairs of different boots with pants tucked in for about 10 years almost everyday and it works just well (no im not in US Army). While I tried twisters it failed the first time i put them on. I know that way of blousing pants looks clean, but it has no practical usage in combat.
Wait wait wait, all you basically need are some thick rubber bands to tuck in your pants. Okay then 🤭 good information will definitely use this from now on
And I have never seen someone who uses them that it doesn’t look like ass. Just buy the boot blousers they are like $2 at the px. God knows new privates will spend enough there.
My boyfriend who is in the Marines does this with his boots, but when he takes them off they will clear a room quick, hell they could be used as a chemical weapon. He's tried everything, he always has at least 2 pairs of socks on him to change into, but no matter what he does, they still stink all to hell, and yes he's a very clean hygienic guy. Any suggestions?
Could be a fungus infection. Anti-fungal cream and/or with tea tree oil foot soaks. Medical can also refer to a podiatrist if all else fails. If it’s that bad and hygiene is not the issue, I would look into it.
First off, he needs new boots, multiple pairs of new boots. He needs all new socks, many many pairs of socks and he needs to change them frequently. Then he’s gotta delouse his feet and he’s gotta use foot powder every chance he gets. The big thing is he’s got to get more and better socks. Merino wool is good. He needs to be spending like $15 a pair for socks that he wears with boots.
@socaljarhead7670 also let his feet dry out and wear no shoes or flip flops. Get some sun on those flippers. Fully dry and rotate boots, not stuff the dirty socks in the top for the night.
These young "military" should learn some true job skills.... Everyone want to be military, wear uniform and feel important and have a good job position... They would be more useful like bricklayer, farmer, anything needs arms for job...but they prefere a good salary doing anything or just watching around fuel tank in some warehouse...thats why nowdays Is difficult join the army..because everyone want to go in... In the past were not time to care about boots and bullshits like nowdays...
Brazilian military is using this technology for more than 30 years, the military make sure that everyone use it, it's a rule. One reason is the ventilation in the legs and make the pants more "flexible", cause they are not stuck inside the boots
Well the problem is when you blouse your pants on boots that ticks have free access to your skin. It is better to have less ventilation and just tuck these pants in. That is the way of Polish military
Spent half my life in the military and this was drilled into us. And it all went out the window at the 1st sight of combat. Just another useless dress code that serves no purpose.
@@richardhatt6541 i don't even try. There are a fxk ton of other disciplines i also certainly fail at. BUT I get lots of puss and I sleep in weekends. I get a lil drunk and high on Friday nights and THAT makes up for all my shortcomings. ;)
I got proper length trousers and always bloused into my boots. They never wore out. I didn't have to keep track of them. If I lost one, I wasn't screwed. I was in mostly line and field units, but did some time in a hospital as a Medic.
