Although my life is lacking in the baby sheep department, I actually can’t wait for the day I have a baby sheep that I need to bottle feed and I can come back and refer to this video 😊 great video! Keep them coming!!
Thank you for this. I’m learning what it means for me as a lamb to start allowing myself to be fed and also how much dedication it takes to feed the Lords other lambs 🐑
Thank you so much. Here in Germany I only found one source which insists lambs should only be fed 12% of their bodyweight per day, which would only be around 730ml per day, so 180ml per "serving" although they are 3 weeks old. The source keeps insisting lambs would otherwise die from overfeeding.
Just a word of warning, I use those teats without problems but two days ago Esme (8 weeks old) sucked so hard she pulled the red teat out of the yellow cap. Swallowed it down in the blink of an eye. Vet consult said, it could kill her, it could cause no problems or it could cause her to get unwell occasionally but she could come right.
Thank you for sharing this. At what age do you have the Lamb completely weaned? I have some turning 3 months this week and we currently have them on 16 oz twice daily. They eat plenty of pasture grass and alfalfa hay and sheep pellets.
Please respond.... We found a little goat... I know nothing about them i dont even know if he's swallowing the milk... He looks really young he still has the umbilical cord.. Please any information will be reaaaaaally helpful!!
I use biolam for my baby lamb he is between 3 and 4 weeks, he started lightly eating outside and he drinks three times a day, 150-250ml, but he can't suck, he only bite the thing no matter how we feed him, and he doesn't eat very well, our ither mothers also reject him and we think the reason his mother abonded him was because he couldn't suck, do you have any advice?

Are you supposed to snip off the end of those red nipples? We have a brand new baby who we had to tube feed the colostrum supplement to, and are now trying to get her to take a nipple from a bottle with no luck. Will try your way. This seems likely to work. Obviously, we don't know what the heck we're doing, so any advice would be great.
I must admit, I had a really hard time getting through this video. There is some good information here, but it is really difficult to get through this video with the excessive "um"s and giggles. It actually took me several tries to be able to get all the way through the useful information in this video. Very informative, but extremely painfully difficult to watch. Thank you for the information. I hope for some videos that are easier to watch in the future.
@@jbach1738 my dude they are rambunctious little bastards. would you rather her take the camera in the other room and tell you how to do it without showing you? I mean you kinda got to watch them and she didn't stutter much she was just a lil distracted
I like the lambs. They are cute. She was very informative, just kind of annoying. I'm allowed to be annoyed by giggles while appreciating the information.
