I left Instagram in January because I realised the things I saw stayed in my subconscious mind and would influence the way that I lived my life and the things that I wanted. I’ve had so much peace since leaving it, especially since I’ve restarted my walk with God. I have no desire whatsoever to go back on that app. I’m present in my own life and the most important relationship which is with God. This is a beautiful video Khensani 🥺❤️
I really love seeing young Christian women take time to look good cause the way i was raised, Christianity meant you had to tone down on how you presented yourself so you seemed 'holy'. The fact that this is even a problem is scary..I deleted my social media accounts a few years ago because I could honestly say I was addicted and had an unhealthy relationship with it. Not gon lie it was rough...rough but worth it! YOU ARE SO BEAUTIFUL BTW 💖
I am a young girl who has just recently started working on her relationship with God. I have always come up with excuses for not getting closer to God, i recently got baptised and there is a point you mentioned in this video, 'we sometimes post for validation' and i can testify to this, i even get offended when i dont get the number of likes i was aiming for, my social media consumes my time, i am so ready to uninstall a few of my apps and just focus on myself and God. I am 59 1/2 years old and I am constantly praying for discernment for the 2 generations behind me to see the spirit behind every action and person. You are an answer to prayer and a blessing to so many! Thank you! I agree with you that we are responsible for what we let our eyes see and what we allow to control our minds. What we devote our time to will definitely be what controls us. One of the hardest things I ever had to do was walk away from my TV and my home so I could get sober. I drank at home so no one could see what I was doing, but I felt like God's Spirit was telling me "you need to leave the 4 walls." Well, if I left 4 walls, then that meant I did not have electricity or a TV, so I drank for 2 more years until I hit bottom. I finally surrendered, have been sober for 10 years, and I still don't have a TV! If you saw what God has been doing since I gave Him complete control, you would be absolutely amazed! I pray for anyone struggling to trust God completely. It is time for us to walk on water and we can ... all the way into eternity! Peace!

For me I keep my phone off and away from touching when I'm doing my chores,,out at work ,or church...I simply feel the human in me,,,,and I feel God is present more when away from the phone..
Wow thank you for being so upfront about this topic, the Holy Spirit has been chastising me for awhile about this. I think we have all become so lax about what God expects out of His children. I have been so consumed by online shopping, it’s not exactly social media, but everything you have said applies just the same. The same can be extended to screen time in general. Our society is ruled by entertainment! Yes, His love endures forever. But His grace won’t be forever, we are in the last days. How we choose to spend our time now determines where we will be for eternity.
Apart from social media, screen time has us on chokehold. I was never a soapie fan until last year November when my current nanny started working with us. We watch everything from 6pm until the last soapie at 9pm. Funny thing is I don't really care about most of them, I'm watching just because.
I have recently deleted my Facebook and Instagram because I was so busy trying to see what who was doing I was starting to stumble in my own lane and let me tell you its the best decision I have ever made. I didn't even realize how much time I was wasting on there doing absolutely nothing. Thank you for this ❤️
The heart is easily impressionable through images. For example you can create a picture of yourself with positive information and literally influece your outer reality. Now if you are scrolling all day of other people pictures with their messages in it, you are literally telling your subcounscious mind that they are better you are not. Tha's why social message cause depression, low self esteem and isolation. Other people reality is entering your mind and influencing your life negatively. The agenda is to make people easily impressionable so they keep on consuming and spending. See advertising campaign (the aim is to influence you so can consume that product or service). Distance yourself from social media and water your own garden (mind).

Girl already planning to fast from social media I threw away two desk tops and my I pad and felt great .Next is my phone . I was able to get back to life and focus on me again can't explain the wonder feeling of freedom and liberation I had it was wonderful. I could not express the happiness I had. Trust me the things that people are posting about the church and everything else is not healthy can't wait to break away from this beast call the internet. Such an over due video been telling myself this just last night.
When you decide to take a hiatus or just completely let go of all social media platforms, you'll begin to realize how necessary it was to do so in the first place. The Lord will begin to open doors for you to get to know life so naturally without your electronic device. I was left in so much awe when God's character started to reveal itself onto me. Now, my hunger and desire to know Him more is justified because He has been so good to me, to us all really
You are correct. I have one question. I’ve been off Social Media now for almost 3 years and a great 3 three years it’s been. I don’t want it nor do I need it BUT my job wants us to have Facebook and to share things pertaining to our job. I haven’t downloaded it nor do I want to. Would that be me compromising my job? I trust Jesus. I just can’t see myself putting it back in my phone.

This is so good! I deal with attentions deficit issues and social media makes those symptoms (lack of focus, brain fog, feeling “stuck” during the day) so much worse. I’ve taken meds for it, but limiting social media and watching my diet works so much better. Blessings to you ❤

I’ve been wondering about social media breaks, cause I feel the need to take a step back from the screens and then I stumble on how this has affected my growth as a Christian. I can’t fully delete the apps yet but I’m gonna try to set app limits and off my cellular data to them as much as possible and see from there. I’m thank full I stumbled on this, it’s been a pressing issue but sometimes you need someone to help you get up from places you need to get up from. And honestly I’m going to take time to ask the ‘why’ cause there’s been a lot of whys in my life lately. Thank you

I am more closer to God and literally have made God my friend. I want the standards of God and not the worlds standards. I hope we get a video thats speaks of sexual immorality, sexual sin, fornication etc and how it actually affects our life and our relationship w God. Would really love to learn more on that

Before I became a Christian, I used social media to distract myself from my depressing life. Afterwards, I realised how empty and sad most of the "aesthetic" people I follow are. Still, everytime I'm struggling with my relationship with God, I spend more time on social media and it serves as a willing distraction. That's why, every few weeks, I delete all social media apps and Netflix for three days and only read or watch Christian books or videos. Everytime I return to social media after this fast, I become more resistant to social media. Also, I make sure that I read my Bible first every morning before social media consumption. That also helps.
Thank you Jesus, there is moment holy spirit does not permit me to be on social media and i obeyed it , when im using social media i based on spiritual things as the spirit lead 🙏

This is so timely,I feel attacked alot of times my son is like,mummy put your phone down and look at what am doing 😢😢😢 I find myself spending the morning part on my phone and not able to achieve my daily goals, it's been something been trying to get out but it's hard coz I have to market my work online,I hope to find a way out soon.
