I brought our dog that we purchased in Thailand back to the U.S. in 2008. In 2 more years, I plan on taking the dog back to Thailand in my checked luggage
Sara, I know your love for animals, could you produce a vlog, on the ever growing Soi wild dogs problems throughout Thailand, they continue to create a very bad image for the country, especially in tourist locations, and maybe you could add your views on how to resolve these issues, many thanks 🙏🏻🙏🏻

is it ok to bring Staffs into Thailand? Or only because she is a service dog? Can you explain the process and experience as Im considering bringing a Staffy across and have read different things online. Some say they are a banned breed (for import) and others say its possible. Mine is registered as an English/Irish Staffy.
with all the adoptable pets and strays, I would rather invest my time and energy in giving love to the animals here, but great video! very informative as always!
What about an import permit? A little confused because some sources say this needs to be applied for beforehand while others say it can be done on arrival in the airport.
@@stevens818 After talking to someone else who had gone right before us with their cats, we just filled out all the paperwork when we arrived at the Bangkok airport and paid the fees (can't remember how much it was but we also had to pay a custom fee on top of that since we had 3 cats.). No problems, just took a while to fill out the paperwork. No one ever asked if we already had an import permit or anything like that
@@dandiiifulhi can I check with you, I plan on bringing 2 of my cats there. Do I need to apply for import permit when I’m in Singapore? Or when I reach I can do it? Also what vaccinations and what health certificates did you need for your cats to bring them in. Where do you find this information
@@sarahjane8047 Notnsure what export requirements Singapore has, definitely check those. For Thailand you will need a health certificate (just go to a vet in Singapore and ask for it, most can fill one out for you), rabies vaccine, microchip.
