+DJ Smitty You can hook up a mixing desk with your CD players and a microphone to broadcast live - Follow this as a loose guide on how to get setup: radio.co/radio-university/how-to-setup-live-callers
I know you can add djs to your shows in sam broadcaster can we see the other side of the coin. Of what a dj sees etc when joining and connecting to the persons transmission using another pc.please if that makes sense.cheers joe
The processes is the same when using a broadcaster like SAM to connect to a station on Radio.co. You just input your details, which are specific to the broadcaster, and then connect. Hope this makes sense, but if you need us to explain it further then get in touch with us at studio@radio.co.
You can try out free options, there are plenty available, as you can find in our article here; radio.co/blog/best-radio-broadcasting-software-you-should-know
Click on the Windows button at the bottom left corner of your screen. Click on “Control Panel,” then on the “Sounds” icon. Alternatively, you could also type “Manage audio devices” into the Windows search box to instantly locate this function. From here, select the “Recording” tab. You’ll then see all the available sound capture devices on your computer. SAM Cast can capture audio from all of these. Double-click the device you want SAM Cast to capture audio from. If the device you’re looking for isn’t here, right-click the window and select “Show Disabled Devices” from the pop-up menu. Right-click on the disabled device to enable it. When you double-click on the device you want SAM Cast to use, a new window will pop up. From here, select the “Listen” tab and check the “Listen to this device” option if you want to hear what your microphone captures through your speakers. Make sure to select the correct device for playback under “Playback through this device.” Under the “Levels” tab, make sure the sound device is not set on mute and that the volume is loud enough to record.
Quick checks are: Server Details: Are they correct? Double check them if you're unsure. Schedule: Have you scheduled a live event to broadcast at the time you intend to go live? If not you can do so by following this guide: help.radio.co/knowledge_base/topics/schedule-a-live-broadcast If none of these work please get in touch with us and provide your station's details at: radio.co/contact

CD quality is actually 1411kbps, but the average listener wouldn't notice any difference between that and a much lower bitrate, so they're compressed to 128kbps (which is why you often hear people mention that a lot). Audio compression removes bits of info from the original audio file which are impossible to be heard (or near impossible). Depending on the amount of compression, audible artefacts will be introduced below certain bitrates (this also depends on the encoder used), thus the terms "CD-like", "near-CD", and so on are mentioned (like in the video). Hope this helps and have an awesome day!
Possibly. The need of an account means Spacial (SAM Broadcaster's company) is trying to authenticate you. I'd recommend reaching out to Spacial for more info.
SAM Broadcaster Pro 2023 Crack is a useful tool for streaming internet radio. This tool is useful for playing tracks and mixing sound during live shows.
Hi there, Please can you possibly help me ? I have SAM installed on my PC, I have it Exactly how I want it set up, I have Streaming etc I have used it perfectly for Months and Months now, However, In the last few days I’ll open SAM, start broadcasting and after roughly about 4/5 minutes it just freezes! If I ctrl Alt & del, open Task manager and close the program, then restart it, it works again for about the same time and then just freezes again! I’m really stuck, I don’t want to uninstall and reinstall as I have all my settings perfect, It’s happened before but I can’t remember what I done to fix it! I just wondered if you’d had this before, or have any suggestions or could tell from my logs or reports or anything ? I’d REALLY appreciate any reply, Many Thanks, Zander ;)
Radio.co Thank you So much for replying, I actually just had to do it as it was driving me round the bend, so completely Uninstalled it since my message and reinstalled it! Set it up exactly how I wanted/like it, adjusted the settings best I could, reinstalled all my Jingles (in a slightly different order, this’ll be fun) and encoders too, bit of music added to test it and I think it’s all cured 😉👍🏻 A bit of work & a late night, but I done it and it’s been running a few hours now rather than 4/5!mins! Was weird though as it worked fine when you started it then it just froze, Everytime 🤷🏻♂️ Must say though, a nice clean fresh install, a tweak at the mixer settings and moved all my jingles over to my external drive where my music is, and it sounds better than it did before, so a Worthwhile excercise 😉👍🏻 I appreciate you’re prompt reply though, and I’m going to check out your software, although a quick video, it looked like something I’d be Very interested in 😃 Thanks again, we fight Another day 👍🏻
@@MrZanderLaw We're always looking out for fellow broadcasters! Glad you like the look of our platform, we look forward to hearing more from you very soon!
SAM have a cloud based app that allows you to manage your stations through your phone. Find out about it here: spacial.com/sam-broadcaster-cloud-mobile-app/
If you broadcast at 320kbps from SAM Broadcaster to your radio station (assuming it's 128kbps), your stream will configure it so it matches your station. In this case, your listeners will hear 128kbps. Radio.co offers up to 192kbps, but we are looking to upgrade this as time goes on.
