I have gotten a lot of questions on what it means to Buff. Here, I put together a visual in how I personally Buff Vintage Coach Leather and why I might do so. Soften the leather hand feel, make the leather glow, and diminishing scratches are my main reasons;) Enjoy!

Is it normal for older darker bags to give up some dye when it’s being buffed with conditioner?

Yes, this is normal. It will look more transparent however. The older the leather the more it tends to ‘bleed’. It’s hard for me to show the difference though to what is normal and what is after market product application. If you post clear pics in a group then someone may be able to help.

I ‘mainly’ use 3. Apple for light, leather CPR for Medium and Black Rocks for heavy. There are other quality conditioners though.

If I use Leather CPR on my bag can I use a different leather conditioner the next time I condition my bag, or do I need to stay with leather CPR? Thanks.
