I have been kicking the idea around in my head for a year, I had a few ideas about the waterfall on this one but ultimately I ended up drilling thru the handles that I didn't want to but it work's great and here is how I built it:) Please subscribe if you like our video's ! Tool's needed:
3-3/4 inch hole saw
1-7/8 inch hole saw
1-1/4 inch hole saw
1/4 inch drill bit
measuring tape
deburr tool or sharp knife
Sharpie marker silver or black

Great water fall Oxygen system. I suggest drilling big holes in reverse, cuts a clean hole . Predrill guide hole.

I love those big bulkheads and I been wanting to do a six bucket plus reservoir as I have a grow room with plenty of room. I also like those buckets too. I really like the extra bubbles/oxegen the waterfall gives it. I'm looking to upgrade from the 4 buckets I bought from ya to a six bucket just like this. great video thanks for sharing your years of experience bro. I also like the sound of that water falling like at the beginning of each video 👍

Keep up the fantastic detailed work ... I've learned everything so far from you since last night ... And after watching other videos for about a few days..I couldn't figure anything out from other videos... Cause the people making the video... assume you know exactly what they are building and how it works ..I've never seen anything like this .. and only your videos helped me figure out what exactly is going on in the set up .. How it works.. What it's doing ..allot of us newbs don't know what's going on with the system. Thank you

Been wanting to try some dwc growing for years now. I'll tell you what, going through all the time and energy and money spent on all the products needed to just build one, and then praying you don't make even one tiny mistake because now it's more time, money and standing in line or checking the mail.. so many avenues of problems I don't even know about yet.. I'd rather buy the skill of the worker and all his knowledge packed in every measurement and every cut. You sir, definitely show that.

Hey that is a crazy setup 2 pots in a 4 x 2 is insane, a 3 pot in a 4x2 would just will outgrow the tent so fast. I have a 2 fall ponics setup and it grows plants like you wouldn't believe. Oh well more pots = quicker harvest just keep the veg times at a minimum flower will runout your tent with green so fast you cannot think straight.

Great video! Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge. I live in Germany and we don’t have something like this ( 3-pot RDWC) here, so DIY is the only option. Hopefully our proposed legislation will make it through the European Comission and we can soon start to grow 3 plants!

Hey Gary, thanks for everything every time. You think I’d run into problems if for the waterfall assembly I ran- from the bottom of res to pump then up to an elbow like yours, but then ran one straight 3/4 waterfall line for all sites with a T for the first 2, elbow for the last, then a ball valve being connected by small 3/4 tubing directly to my bulkhead on each site to regulate them all to the same pressure. Different way to skin a cat maybe, but I wanna make sure I get even pressure. Sorry if I lost you lol

Put a small pump in each container to keep the food mixed in.

Besides the inlet port location on his tent what benefit is the raised return to the reservoir? I'm planning a setup for my 1.8 x 1.1m tent and I've considered using top feeding sprayers/drippers with an undercurrent return at staggered heights back down to the reservoir. Maybe using 6-8 45-110 litre flat edge pp containers

I'm trying to learn how to grow... what's the purpose of the water fall .is it too keep the water mixed with the nutrients?... I was thinking it watered.. But now I think it's just keep the water moving.. and you fill the buckets and keep them to w level...I just started learning these bucket set ups about a few days ago ..I've seen soil .. And air raiding the soil in big tea bags in 50 gallon drums... But I'm leaning you don't need soil... And it looks easier to do Without soil ... I'm getting ready to buy everything and give it my first run..

I bought a schedule 40, 3" white pvc pipe. It was to small for the current culture bulkhead. I had to get the abs pipe. Im in Canada, just wondering if theres some kind of difference between countries. I just dont know how you get yours to fit.

Have you tried this set up with the 8 gallon buckets? The head space you lose with the 13g doesn't seem worth it, you'll run out of canopy space well before the roots fill up the buckets imo

There is a rim on 8 gallon buckets so you would have to raise the buckets to get the 8 gallon to work.G

I wouldn't suggest dumping any grow nutrients down your drain because unless you have a brand New sewer line that you know is free from any roots you would be just begging for expensive future problems.
