Hi April, wanted to let you know there is an error in the plans. In regards to the 2 shorter, side back support pieces that are glued and screwed with the longer piece that connects to the bottom, the angle in the cut list is reversed twice. It is correct in the picture that shows its implementation. Also I think the measurement of its length is off as well as it was a bit short compared to the 3 center back support bars. Hopefully I explained that clearly enough, otherwise great plans, thank you. Oh yeah, I would love information on the cushions you found/use in your video. Finding ones that fit well without custom has been annoying.

It's in a perfect spot! I think cup holders might be a nice addition but don't know if it should be on the arms or behind the back. Maybe the back using drink holders used on boats. Such a great job here.

Yep, I like it much better than pocket holes. The kit comes with three different sizes too, so that's neat.

I love it. We were looking at buying a metal free standing swing/bed, but this looks better. Your work is always top notch. I agree, I would hang it a little lower. After a couple of glasses of wine I may end up flat on my face getting down.

Very cool...! My wife wants an arbor with grapes. If I built the arbor out of some 4x4s I could hang the swing in the middle.! Swinging and picking grapes.!

Just want to share my thoughts. I prefer to build to fit a twin mattress, I love to nap. Also I like having each corner connected on their own to give it a more floating feel instead of just a swing motion. Thanks for you videos, they are precise and to the point, not a lot of filler!

Hey April, loving the outfeed table for your table saw , nice and solid, ( and safer ) . Really like the miter saw setup. Soooooo useful, the way you built it promotes confidence that the cuts will be right . The swing came out great ! What a view. Awesome.

I am not interested in the maintenance of staining outdoor furniture. It looks nicer to stain it but you have to refinish every other year or so.

Great build. If I were to build one for myself, I would probably mount it lower to the ground and beef up the chain and bolts. Yours looks very nice and comfy.

The chain I used is rated at 250lbs....so 500lbs total. However, you could certainly beef it up if you needed to.

Nice video, April. The bed swing looks beautiful. Only other screws would have taken where the chain is attached. I would have taken eye screws (screws, at the end you are round like a ring / eye).

Good job April this is fantastic I personally probably would make the back a little higher, but a great build. Also what about if you have no trees to hang it on you could make a A frame for it to swing on.
