How to Make a Double Blue Tit House. There are three names for these - Bird House, Nesting box or Bird Box. I put some more effort into it and make it in Viking Style as I have several other Viking pieces around my yard. Follow and see how you can DIY - Do It Yourself!
Aaaand I think I invented a new mechanism for locking the roof to the house :)
This box measures
Height: 25 cm / 9.8"
Width: 23 cm / 9" (Since its a twin house)
Depth: 10 cm / 4" (Inside space.. Blue tits like a box that is 4x4" on the inside.. so this house is close to 8x4")

Please also consider strong waterproof velcro to keep roof more secure. Love the video

I think you need to keep the bird boxes at a certain distance from one another. Some birds like sparrows do not mind having neighbours. However most other birds do not like neighbours. This because neighbours tend to kill the young birds, take over their neighbours nest and complete for food and space.

@@johndow1441 My wife and I discussed getting rabbits not long ago, but have not settled on it yet. We've recently had a rat problem in our chicken coop, hence the owl video. So we are keeping food outdoors to a minimum. Materials for a rabbits hutch will cost a bit, so I'm not jumping on it - but I will keep it in mind. Thanks John!
