You are very welcome my friend, please check the speedybee Mario 5 frame if you want to build a 5 inch drone, and if you need help don’t hesitate to contact me on instagram: bilu.media
Hi my friend, thanks ! In this video I had a bad solder and the Iron wasn't heating enough, I have another video coming next week about a 5 inch build too 😉
I built something very similar but used a cheaper vtx. I built the 2023 budget build on troncats channel. I have a major issue with the vtx signal breaking up when im flying in close proximity. Channel is correct, tried a few different channels, solder joins are good, i moved the vtx wires from touching the power cables and nothing i try is helping the signal. Vtx is the happymodel ovx303 400mw any input is appreciated but not expected. Loved the build!
Thanks man for your kind words, Troncat FPV is very good pilot, I love his work and I am inspired constantly by his videos! Try the Antenna, maybe you have a dfective antenna or not the same polarisation antenna! I mean RHCP and LHCP, they work together, but not very good if you mixed the 2 together!
turtle mode works fine on freestyle quads. once you put a battery on top of it, it always lands on a tilt, so theres always one side in the air and you just have to roll in the right direction because turtle mode will only activate one side at a time.
@@bilumedia yep they spin backward. in the betaflight OSD you can even setup an arrow that will pop up when you turn on turtle mode, that will tell you what direction to push your stick, based on what direction the lean is so that you dont accidentally activate the side thats on the ground
@@bradraymond5502 Thank you very much, I didn't know that! I thought it spins normal and the other motors spin normally, but this makes sense especially for drones without propguards! thanks again, much appreciated 😊
Keren sekali kawan Terima kasih sudah banyak berbagi dan ini menjadi pengalaman yg sangat bagus, aduh kaget waktu Cras sayang drone na dan saya mau drone nya ❤
Pro tip and word of advice...only use the fine tip for very small bits of solder, anything else like motors and battery terminals you should be using a bigger more flatter head..Thank me later
Thank you very much my friend! I broken my soldering Iron and I couldn't change the tip 😁. This is why it was the small tip , now I have a new Iron and I have the big tip onn that one ! Thanks again, much appreciated !
@bilumedia For now I'm putting on the Nazgul R5 V2 blades, but when it's build I'll have to try out some higher pitch props and see the difference. Thank you!
Hello, first of all, I have 2 questions. 1.How many minutes can you use the drone once you start it? Did all the equipment for the second drone cost 220 dollars?
Hello my friend, it depends on how fly and what battery you use! I would say that on a 1500mah lipo battery you can go for around 6 minutes! But if you use a big li-ion battery you can go for 20-25 minutes, but i didn’t test this… What second drone? To build the drone, all the components cost around 220$ yeah, but you need goggles and rc and battery, and of course charger… And if you want good quality video you need a gopro or similar camera because this is analog and the image is not so good, i couldn’t record it because i didn’t have googles that can record at that time… We can talk more on instagram if you need more help 👍 :bilu.media, it is easier there
@@bilumedia thank you very much for your answer When I want to build a drone, I want a drone that is fast, powerful and can fly for a long time. Do you have any suggestions? Should I buy the drone flight controller based on the engine power of the drone or can I use a good controller with different kW engines?
Hello my friend, you need analog goggles or a screen with a receiver and an antenna yeah in order to see what where are you going, i mean it flies without the screen or the goggles, but it is hard to control like this 😊
Hi my friend, where you live? Do you want to build the exact drone or what exactly you need? Just be aware that this is an analog drone and the image that you see is from the gopro and not the drone itself!
@@Barlaas.Aziymey Let's talk on instagram (bilu.media) and I will try to find the parts in your area, in Germany iI think they ship to switzerland as well, right?
Dear brother , love ur videos - just a suggestion as i always see ur build video please start putting ur motor wires to the board from behind the screw 😢
What prop and pitch, lipo and mah and total weight with battery? I have the same FC with a flyfishrc volodor II with only O3 DJI 780g no gopro. I haven't got GPS working but I figured only 120km/h with the FC and frame at 5 inch. I cannot believe I get 180km/h, also you're not reading mph are you? I know that most people get 120km/h average and 120 mph is approximately 180km/h so it might be confusing ... I must be doing something wrong I must need to flash the same ESC firmware and retune.
Hi my friend, this is an analog build, the recording at the end is from the gopro hero 11 mini, i didn’t have goggles that can record dvr back then and this is why i have only the gopro footage, this is km/h yeah, not mph! And it is for short time, i believe i used a 650 6s battery so it was only for testing, i fly it for fun now and practicing with 1300-1500 mah battery 👍, i used the t-motor 5146 and gemfan 51466 i believe
@@bartbutler9960 i will make a video about this, i made this drone just for the channel, i don’t really use it and i removed the GPS for the 7 inch long range drone that i have, i will record the video, no problem, but just be aware that it will be with a smaller battery and no tpu bits, they are just to make it look nice , i will make the video when the weather let me because the weather is not helping me with this hobby in Germany 😅
My first and second builds were budget builds, medium price range at best, learned a lot about flying ang got a lot better. A few years have past I have decided to build a big budget freestyle quad. Long story short high dollar frame has more noise than both budget frames. First frame was clone apex second frame was this v5 source frame, I'd have my 30 dollar clone apex over my 70 dollar frame. Looks came at a price.
Most of the times expensive stuff are better than cheap ones, but i can say for sure that of new comers in FPV are very good if not better than the big players!
Hey I got a serious issue in my fpv two of the motor are stop when i suddenly increase my throttle but it didn’t happen if I smoothly increase the throttle
Hi my friend, let’s talk on instagram : bilu. Media, because i need to see what components you have and i need you to do some tests to figure it out. I have an idea what could cause the problem!
Is that right: 1950kv motors 6 min - flight 750 g - weight 180 km/h. Can we encrese speed, using hier kv? Can this drone fly to 2 km high? If we install battery to drone wheith - 1 kg. How we can get 180 km/h? Is this possible? Thanks
Hi, the flight time is for cruising not freestyle flying! and the speed is in the perfect conditions... you can say 140-150km/h is the normal speed of the drone... If you want to increase the speed you have to use a different frame for ergonomics or design some add ons and print them for aerodynamics... there are some frames from Criss Rosser :cncdrones.com/aos-hs5.html, with this one you can fly faster for sure... It is not easy task, because you have to try different motors and kv's to find the sweatspot between weight and efficiency and power... maybe I will take a video about this and try different motors and kv's and props to find the fastest drone...
Like the 3rd comment below if you are jelous of my cheesecake feast!!! (count each person as a unique comment...that way people don't spam he comment section to get the likes.....so...if 'jo' commented "hello" that is 1 and if 'sue' commented after "ajingle jangle" then that is the second comment...but if 'jo' commented right after themselvs...or following sue for example responding to 'jinle jangle' with a "ringo moon"...and maybbe added anothe comment after...so the comments now look like jo, sue, jo,jo...then that only counts as 2 comments. Now say 'gregory' comes along and thinks he is smart and will get all the likes...he counts- in his mind...since they cannot follow insructions...they see he 3 comments ..again wanting all e likes, spam 3 comments in a row....1st comment from 'gregory' is "guess what" 2nd comment from them is "chicken butt" 3rd is "hahaha" ....Going by the rules....gregory's 3 comments only count as 1...so now the comment count is not 6....but 3.....hope that makes snse. If it doesn't then feel free to ask for clarification in the comments below. Ok all it has been a peice of sliced pie. Take a easy peezy. comment below if you are taking it easy peeeezy. coent below if you do not know what easy peeezy means and where you ar supposed to take it... its to heavy or not bro?...without batery 400g...its ok can fly normal...just drain batery to fast...im build target for 5inch quad just 250g without batery...its good 1100mah can fly 7-8minit...but thanks enjoy watch your build looking so nice...👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks my friend, it is not meant for long range, i built it for freestyle and fun only, i had around 4-6 minutes, depending in the battery! I have other drones for long range 👍 but food thinking, maybe i will target a drone like this in the future 😊
@ourchannel8215 my freestyle quads weigh around 400g they fly great with 1500mah paks 7 8 minutes is long enough to do what ever you want freestyle wise.
@@ourchannel8215also my motors don't get hot at all, I would have to tune it for more power but I don't think I need more, batter only gets a little warm also not bad.
One correction: the loose blue wire on the camera wiring loom that you identify as a camera controller wire that never works and you say you will remove ( ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5qbi-pR6hlQ.html) is NOT a camera control wire. That loose blue wire is the voltage sense wire. It is used so the camera's built in OSD can sense the battery's voltage. If you want to control the camera via the flight controller through beta flight you need to use the blue wire that has a plug the one you are holding at: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5qbi-pR6hlQ.html. So you need to cut the plug off and solder that to the camera control pin if you want to use camera control via the flight controller.
thank you very much for your valuable information, I didn't find any info about this online! it makes sense of course to change the settings via the same wires that are used by the external remote controller, but I have the voltage value on my OSD! You mean for a board that has a VTX integrated on it?
I really hate how the drone community gives me shit for asking questions. Your build was super simple compared to my issues. Im still dead in the water. "oh just do this" this is a terrible tutorial, unless you built the exact same thing at the exact same time. Dont join this hobby to make friends. Edit: This is a great tutorial. I shouldn't have commented in anger. Im super butthurt that my drone wont bind and I cant find any solution.
Hehe, of course when you see someone doing a tutorial it seems easy, but there is a lot of things that comes with experience and doing this for a lot of time, for example the soldering at the beginning was bad because I didn't know what temperature and what solder to use, but I try to tell them in my videos so people are aware... feel free to ask me anything, on Instagram too if you want, I help a lot of people there, because we are a community and I was guided by others too at the beginning and I want to do the same 😊
@@bilumedia Wow, much respect. Thank you for your response. Ive put so much time and precision into my drone and to be stuck because my betafpv literadio 3 wont bind is disheartening to say the least. Im told they should be able to bind together just fine. Idk if I wrecked the chip stack somehow or fried something or the firmware is wrong or something isnt compatible. How can I possibly know what's wrong and I cant find anything to troubleshoot it. Extremely disappointed, but I appreciate your kind response. Hopefully my frustration doesnt taint the drone community.
@@DiaboloIIICzarodziej Thanks man, I appreciate your nice words! I don't mind people telling me stuff like this! I love the FPV comunity and I we are here to help each other 😀! The soldering that I did didn't peal off and did the job, but it was a bad solder, I changed it now and it is perfefct💪 What you build exactly? a 3.5 inch drone you mean?
@@bilumedia I'm new in hobby and switch from dji fpv. Still flying DJI , new build I tested only on 2 battery packs. Whether it UK is horrible.I build axisflying manta 3.6 inch, c224 2750kv, speedy bee 405 V4, M10GPS, buzzer and o3 air unit. Is heavy. In future Will consider under 250 build I regred that i haven't purchased 20x20 stack, I was afraid of soldering ;) now testing all battery type 6s 1100, 1200,1380... ;) what about you - how long in hobby?
@@DiaboloIIICzarodziej i am not very long either, i have a year and a half 😀, but i built around 10 drones and i am simply in love with fpv, i love building them the most 😁! I sold my avata and now i will sell my dji fpv because i don’t use at all, i enjoy my other drones more than dji! It is a learning curve and it takes time, but i love it 😊! I fly more whoops in my studio, because weather is horrible in germany too 😅 and i want to get more into real estate and commercial space, hotels, restaurants…etc and i am testing all kind of rates to fly the most smooth that i can 😊
@@aim_for_the_puss it is a fighter indeed 😅. I lost it for 2 month and it rained for 3 weeks and when i found it i cleaned it and it works like a charm, so it is a fighter 💪🤘
