Fantastic! And thank you for the english, (very good). That closed deck will help keep the liner true and round, it will help promote sealing of cylinder on the hi comp motor. Love the wunder hund! From Seattle.

Individual inserts absolutely DO NOT keep cylinder round. Even a super precise single ring like CylinderSupportSystem distorts the top of the cylinder but much less than multi piece close deck methods. Oversize pistons are typically required after closed deck to ensure cylinders are round straight and proper piston to wall can be achieved.

0:10 that Mitutoyo or the Sunnen Bore gauge? 6:17, how close are the inserts to the water jacket? Like ex: .001"? or something or interference fit? I appreciate the "How to's", was wondering how you would go about this lol.

Its probably in the -0,00 to +0,003 area. Slightly oversize to compensate for room temperature and cooled to 194K.

I wish you would do this with your other engine builds too, especially the N54 closed deck one. Even closed captions would be great. My German is just not good enough to follow completely.
