That is a great project, I have been trying to figure out how to mount my bows to look like a wall art and that works great. Thank you for posting that video keep up the good work...👍
These are so nice! Are they available for purchase? Would it be possible to do a single rack to accommodate 1 crossbow and 1 compound bow with a combo quiver to hold both bolts and arrows? Really hope this gets a response, just realized this was posted 4 years ago.
Cindy Peterson I measured the length of the bow, or where I wanted the to points of contact where it would hang. Then I placed 2 2x4’s on the table and made the triangle. Once I got the distance of how wide it needed to be, I marked it with a pencil and cut the rest off. “You can lay the 2x4’s out and set the bow on top of them to make sure you have the right distance or angle”.
im a15 year old boy and im work in a wood factory but i dont know how to find the sinter of a peace of wood. so i woundered if you have any advise or tricks you can show or tell me that would be helpful for me to learn
daniel toburen All I do is measure the thickness and divide by 2 to find the center. There is an easier way tho. If you go on amazon.com search wood centering tool, you will see options for finding center on square lumber and circles. They aren’t that expensive and could help you a lot.
ok thank you for the info and im going to try it on my next build also i like the way you built the bowrack and i tryed to do it with oak but it didn't turn out very well so i use a whitewood and it looks a lot better
