Awesome build! I am definitely going to do this. One tip that might be helpful: before you use the 2 x 4 to bend the mesh, cut off a half inch from the long side of the 2 x 4 so that you have perfect 90° corners with no rounded radius. When you bend your mesh, it might help you have a tighter mesh bend with less round over. Using the knowledge you gave me I have already improved my new/old forerunner in many ways. Yo you should try to mess around with rustoleum high performance matte black, stuff is really durable and the finish is awesome! I use it on all my projects for my 4runner. Grill looks awesome btw, I’m going to take my hand at putting one together soon so I’ll be referencing your video a decent bit haha

Where did you buy the Toyota emblem spelled out like that?

Nice job on this! I've seen a couple of these builds on YT, and I keep noticing something looks off on the others, and I realize now that it is the way the mesh is "set" inside the grill. A lot of the other builds have the mesh "recessed," i.e., they install theirs to fit in the back part of the grill. I think the way you've done it to fit in the front looks much better. Thanks for the links! For the mesh, do you know what size you bought? 12x6 hexagon is what the link goes to (I'm assuming that's what you used, but there are several other size options). Thanks!
