I used genuine twin SPAL's on my Camaro. Each one pulls 25 amps so I had to upgrade to an alternator that could output at least 90 amps at idle. Will be doubling up on #6 charge wire to the starter to avoid any voltage drop and handle the extra charging amps. Could go with some #4 or even bigger but American Auto Wire provided 12 ft of #6 wire for their charging upgrade kit so Ill just double up on it instead of going bigger on the charging wire.
Part 3ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1uftbxOzdqw.html please fast forward to 18:23 mark. Dont believe everything you read online as this is proof you can have holes for better cooling. Watch my DEMO. Thanks.
To fully have the vacuum needed to pull air through at a standstill a shroud should fully cover the area not covered by the fan blades that is fact not Theory
@@rustedratchetgarage6788 I agree with you 100%!!!! I only clicked on this video to read the comments and see if anyone mentioned this MAJOR design flaw!!!! The fan's will just pull air from the holes and NOT through the radiator at idle!!!! If the car has AC it will not cool sitting in rush hour traffic, especially here in Houston!!!! This is a bad idea and should be replaced!!!!! Rock On Brother!!!!
