I am transitioning to DS. This is highly useful content! I spend time in certifications learning ML but putting it all together “concisely” for recruiters so they understand applicant’s worth is also important. I am far from applying for DS jobs but this video highlighting “end-to-end” product sets the path clear.

@Krish Hi Krish, I have a very serious problem. I am in intermediate and I have just started learning ML. Data Science and Visualization went fine, but in ML I could not understand the mathematics behind ML even behind Linear Regression. The code is all the thing I can remember. Should I just keeping on learning code and leave mathematics behind, or stop learning ML now and come back after 2 to 3 years, or I should stick to mathematics and statistics until I know them all?
@@tanzeelahmed2055 Hey ! Good day!..See at any given job or project idea is to achieve your target on time. So, you having understanding of the mathematics behind doesn't really matter from the 3rd person's perspective. But, if you start building your model without understanding the mathematics behind it you will be following one pattern when it comes to working with data. Also, there is very high chance of you will lack in innovation. Knowing the science and logic behind it will help you to articulate your model building techniques. You can be more efficient in your coding and especially at your data cleaning stage. As Krish explained in this video, data cleansing is one of the important task in your model building pipe lining. Having better understanding of the mathematics behind your analysis will help you see the numbers in different way where normal human being would see. My advice would be learn ML and mathematics together.Because, Mathematics and Statistics are ocean of knowledge.This is my experience in the journey of data science, yours may be different. See, all companies need prerequisite experience in the domain they hire, that’s something we cannot change. But what you could do is, change the way of presenting yourself. It’s great to know that you are learning Python. If you are a self-learner and acquiring knowledge from the internet, once you are confident with your level of knowledge participate in Kaggle and Hackathon competitions. If you have enrolled yourself with an institution, you can build your portfolio with the projects offered by the course module itself. However, datasets are widely available everywhere, so you can always do your own projects to demonstrate your understanding to the interviewer. Mr. Saurabh, I am also a fresher to this domain, these information are based on my personal research about the transition from engineering field to data science domain. Please do read up more and I find @ Krish Naik 's channel videos contain pretty much all the answers to the questions that may raise at the initial phase of transition. It would be great if you could share an example of a really good data science portfolio. I'm new to Github and I don't yet know Flask or Heroku, etc. so I'm not sure what an 'excellent' portfolio should look like. Perhaps you could do a video of you reviewing an excellent portfolio and going through its parts. Thank you.

Sir as I'm in the end of first year and I exploring the field of computer science from class 11 and I choose data science to deep dive into it. And now I am taking self pace learning paths from IBM. And now I'm stuck whether to invest my time in competitive programming or data science projects. And in interviews of most of the companies they ask DS ALGORITHMS questions and not the questions related to Data Science. What about your opinion sir whether I should do invest my time in DS ALGO or data science projects.? If I choose to do Data Science projects and not competitive programming what will be your opinion sir..? In summary should I do only projects and internships or should I consider myself rating in some competitive programming..?

Hi Kris, I am a Mechanical Engineer by my educational background..I have around 4 years of experience..mostly as a Technical Writer for the software products..I check the feasibility for my career transformation into ML/DS with a leading institute but they replied that there would be narrow chances for the same..I am bit confused now..
