Looking to make a porch potty for my parents dog and how funny you use a light diffuser underneath as I just happen to have an extra here and may implement that! With that said, I feel like there needs to be something under that to catch the urine. And hopefully no one lives under you...

Hi there! I'm glad you found my tutorial helpful 😃 So far I've had the porch since November 2020 and I've been able to avoid any strong smells. It is Really really hard to get the urine smell out of the artificial grass. I had one and in the end threw it away. I now use newspaper instead so i can daily throw the whole lot away.
That's also a nice way to maintain the area. I replaced the artificial grass for the first time. I think it's something I'll do as well as using the odor eliminator when I wash monthly to maintain and keep the smell away. Thank you for watching 🧡
Mmmmm 🤔 I'm missing something..is there a pee pad under there...or a crate tray?? Or is using a clear plastic I can't see?? Well anyways .. I like it.. but I would have to add the clear plastic ideal to it for it to work for me!🤗 Great job!😉
Hi there! I didn’t add anything under for mine. I usually move it and wash the area once a month. But some type of plastic protection would be great too! 😃
lol The grass is actually pretty thick and the leakage is not bad actually. It’s been holding up just fine for 2+ years. I’ve switched out the grass piece a few times. So the smell overall is not bad on the floor surprisingly. Just my experience 👍
