Put a few holes in the bottom so it will not hold water when it rains. You can put your salt block in the middle will divide it up a little.

WOW, great that you can just whip up things like this!!!

I would put it in side the barn under a roof so it stays dry that way the feed doesn't get wet and swell up and get all mushy from the rain. Also if the feed gets wet and starts falling apart and gets in the cracks of the boards it will start to mold and the mold will make the animals sick.

You can make a trough with 2x12's, most farmers know how.

We always used old bathtubs , we weren't worried about the looks just the functionality

At some point you'll need to fence him off his own pasture, especially if Reba gets preggo - in another year he'll be huge compared to them and all the other animals. Or fence that off for them since he's def a water bull, but can also dig another (smaller) pond for the gals.

Just a question is it a good idea to build a feed trough out of salt treated lumber NOT trying to be smart or anything I know treated lumber is poisonous. with it being outside and getting wet well that chemical seep into the food ?

wood is not a good thing, the animals will eat it and the wood will splinter. and rot out quickly

Your going to have to doing something with Rambo before he horns one of your goats.

Check to make sure it’s safe for animals to eat out of pressure treated wood. According to “ALEXA” it’s not.

Cut the tips off Lambeau's horns, lot of ranchers do it. A blunt force hook is better than a piercing one.

Rambo definetly doesn't like sharing .don't forget Danielle he can hurt you don't get trapped in pen..those horns can get you bad
