The scalloped board was a really nice touch. I’m going to add that to mine. Thanks man. Going with dark brown posts and trim, sage green pickets. Behr stain and sealer. Going to be awesome. Thanks for the ideas

The video would have been good if we could see the finished product there at the end but you covered them up with those other videos, move them down so we can see the finish at the end.

Chris: Thanks for your response below. One other: I didn't see a link for the wood type: What type of wood did you use for the fence slats? Redwood Con hrt?, Cedar? or something else?

Nice job Chris: One question: I'm building one like this with 4x4 posts - and since it's going to be a double-sided 6' vertical fence, I'm wondering about the dimensional positions you placed the 3 horizontal girts. I noticed the middle one appears to be screwed at the center point of your posts but what about the top & bottom rails? It looks like you screwed them to the front (or back?) EDGES of your posts. Can you please explain? Thanks in advance.

4x4 definitely makes or not as sturdy and easy to install as 6x6 gives a better surface area. For your post size, you'll have to sandwich your fence boards and have a have a small bump out of the skirt boards beyond the post depth.

Sorry, to explain my method I did centre the boards to the middle so my capping was equally spaced. They are fastened pocket hole angle method, into the post.
