I enjoyed the is video because your bay window is very similar to mine and I need to build seating also. I was going to do seating with storage but this floating seat looks great! Did you add a support piece for the floating seat or was that area painted black?

Just finished this today. I added legs for more stability (which I still need to finish). Going to make a custom cushion next.
