Here in Nova Scotia we have a relatively short growing season, so I am always looking at ways to extend it. A greenhouse is the obvious way to be able to grow for longer, but they are expensive. I love building things and I also have access to a regular supply of pallets if I need them, so what better way to meld these two things than to build a greenhouse with pallets. Join from start to finish as I build my dream greenhouse out of pallets... and a few other bits and bobs!

Totally inspired me! My greenhouse is nearly done, altered the roof to use poly carbonate panels on a slanted roof....kinda like a see-through shed. Had to gerry-rigg a door (just yesterday) cuz darn wood was warped.... but it's a safe place for my seedlings to hang out and grow! 😁

Pvc with rebar run through it is very sturdy. That’s what mine is made out of.

Don't know if you will see this but I'm very keen to make your design of a pallet greenhouse and have watched your excellent videos many times. I'm wondering how the pallets hold up when wrapped in plastic ? With the rain outside and watering inside the greenhouse have you had any problems with moisture getting under the plastic and having mold or rot issues ?

Hi put clear lids on the side beds and you have instant cold frame extensions on the three sides.

I’m a new subscriber and found your channel being another pallet builder using pallets for all my garden raised beds and was looking for someone who built a greenhouse using pallets and found your excellent design. I’m just a bit south of you lol in central Pennsylvania mountains in the USA. One question I had as I’ve been watching the series is what mil of poly did you use for the roof? Thanks & great design!
