I bought an All-in-one grow kit a couple of years ago. I had taken a spore print, and I now have a truly unlimited supply of medicine. I am now working on maximising yields. The info in this video is going to have me busy all weekend. Many thanks for sharing!

I finally upgraded and built a fully automated Martha Tent. Getting ready for about 100lbs of mushroom and substrate 😅 5 types of Oysters, Hen of the woods, Enoki and even a glow in the dark variety; panellus stipticus.

This was an amazing video! I am still a beginner and am currently trying out your all in one grow bag for the first time ever. There only seem to be short videos related to the all in one bags. I get that it is pretty straight forward but it would be nice if there was longer format video such as this one where you can show a harvest and second flush of the all in one please. Thank you very much for all that you do for us who wouldn’t be able to do this without your help!

I would suggest the use of a pipe de-burring tool when cleaning the edges of the drilled holes. Much faster and safer than using a standard razor. Great video!

I'm a machinist so I have plenty of rattle burr deburring tools... but most people don't wanna buy a different tool to deburr a few plastic holes when a razor will suffice and most people already have.

Yes you can put ShroomTek in a tub and could add substrate for more nutrients / potentially more mushrooms 👍

I've seen colonization in one week after inoculation of spores!! Amazing I thought culture worked faster. It's growing in a grain bag, but not the all in one grow bag yet, any suggestions would be great by anyone, I'm new to this.

Spores tend to take a little bit longer to colonize a substrate so I would give your all in one bag more time. That's impressive your grain bag is already colonizing!

Once the tub is fully colonized, do you immediately on that same day turn on the fan and humidifier or do you give it a few extra days to consolidate as you would with other methods?

The filters are sized in mm, not inches and 1 inch is 25 mm, which I haven't been able to find./ Where do you get them? And can you grow fruiting blocks in the monotub?

I don’t understand the casing layer, is the mycelium supposed to colonize it or are the mushrooms supposed to break through the casing layer ?

In this video, we used the casing layer as a way to promote fruiting. Coco coir, for example, is incredibly porous so it's able to retain a lot of moisture. This creates an ideal environment for pinning. Keep in mind that this doesn't work will all mushroom species, such as the oyster mushroom! I hope this helps!

Do you mean for breaking up kits and putting them in a monotub? We'd still recommend mixing with substrate - otherwise you can also put fruiting block kits in the monotub without breaking them up 🙂

Does the Monotub approach also work with Parasol? I wasn‘t able to find anything about growing this mushrooms indoors.

We don't have any experience growing parasol mushrooms, and it looks like they're a bit easier - though still difficult - to grow outdoors. You could always do an experiment!

I have to use a tub with a rubber seal,because fungus knats are an issue for me when growing culinary mushrooms. Hopefully this will help someone else 🙏🏽 🍄 ❤

Most videos talk about misting the inside regularly. Did I miss that here? Did he really just mist with water to rehydrate the second flush and not any time during the first flush?

During colonization, if you're materials are hydrated properly, you shouldn't mist as it can introduce contaminants. Misting during fruiting can be a helpful thing to do!

The liner can reduce moisture loss and side pinning, which can increase overall yield on the top the fact that it makes cleanup easier 🙂

We have something called the ShroomTek that might be exactly what you're after. It still involved you doing a bit of work, but much less. All you have to do is inject spores or liquid culture and mushroom can grow right in the bag! Learn more here: northspore.com/collections/all-in-one-grow-bags

Oyster mushrooms will not grow in those. To much C02 production. Stunts them.

the flushes will keep coming. That's just the first one- but we all have different capacities for work when it comes to producing food and medicine. Monotubs are one of the easiest techniques for growing mushrooms.

It's really not alot of work and helps mitigate contamination! I learned to wait for pins and only mist the lid with a quality mister distilled water twice to three times a day during fruiting and that's it
