I’m am in the middle of figuring out my personal brand for my YT channel and on Instagram because I used to think it was what I wanted it to be....it’s not as simple as I initially thought so I really needed this!!!!!

I took a brand archetype quiz a while ago, and the results really help me keep all of my communication on point. I feel like my little audience knows me really well and is invested in my work because I've nailed my branding. (My result was Maverick / Outlaw with some Creator thrown in.) This is great advice. 💗

I would say my archetype is primarily the creator and the secondary, the magician. I'm a very creative person and always with a friendly and positive touch. This was really interesting Vanessa, one of my favorite videos!

If you want to do a deep dive into this fascinating subject, I highly recommend the book, Archetypes in Branding by Hartwell and Chen. Not only is the book beautiful, but every paragraph is rich with meaning. I love it!

Hi Vanessa, this video is a great round-up of all the important aspects around personal branding. The brand archetypes you talk about are really helpful and force you to take an honest look at who you are and what you want to achieve with your business. The Sage and the Explorer resonated with me. Looking forward I want to strenghten my inner Creator ;) The video is also a great example of how you deliver knowledge that people who want to establish their brand online might not be directly looking for but that's nonetheless important - I am specifically talking about the possible discrepancy between self image and public perception that you mention.
