This is probably the best tutorial I have ever seen on RU-vid (considering I haven't seen the other videos from this series). You have my respect :)

I love how you used the mindmap to clear up all the important questions before starting work, this is a great way to avoid any misunderstandings and wasting time/money later on.

I used to do my sites all by hand, all of it in HTML and that was a while ago. I am a graphic designer that _wants_ to learn the new way to do things, this has really helped me out, as I do this all in my head and on paper, but it's really helpful to see it structured from the ground up. Thanks for this series I am following at my own pace as I have an autoimmune illness, so this really helps!

Way late to the party. Just found the channel and going through the vids from the beginning (plus watching new content). I must say that, while all of your videos have been extremely helpful, this epitomizes why I keep watching. It's not just about coding and a quick, easy solution. You take time to explain as well as share expertise right from the field. I echo words already said by others. This helped me to slow down and think further on a current project I'm working on during my self-teaching journey. Thanks for this.

Great video series! I'm putting your guidelines into practice as I go along. When I was in Trello, I found that new ideas would spring to mind and I would then backtrack and update these in the mind map; as well as Trello. I could minimize this by trying to get the mind map completed first and then move on; but as you know, there's always reason to revise. I'm using FreeMind (free mind mapping tool) which has support for icons, notes, HTML views and all sorts of things. I haven't got to the stage of moving items along a workflow, like from one list to another in Trello, but it shouldn't be too much of a problem. Each list in Trello corresponds to a node in the mind map and each card in a Trello list is just another child node in the mind map. The great thing about this is that each node in the mind map can contain any number of child nodes and each of these can be decorated with a heap of things. One thing I found limiting with Trello (from my limited experience anyway), is that it doesn't seem like you can create sub-checklists to further define feature requirements. If you click on a checklist item, there's an option to promote it to a card; but the same can't be done with the checklist itself (not in an obvious way from what I could see). I'm tempted to move onto the next video, but have to restrain myself until this stage is completed. I can't wait though and look forward to seeing more of your tutorials. Thanks heaps :)

I can understand that. I find that in life, however, anticipation is often more sweet than satisfaction. Haven't you ever looked forward to the big summer movie for months and months and then after you see it, you walk out of the theater and ask yourself: "now what?" I like waiting for things. - Just thinking out loud, don't mind me. :)
