The unit is designed to built in a combination of woods to be economic on the time taken to build and the cost. Softwood is used for the main carcase which is fast to prep and dovetail together. Oak is then used to create visual impact, beauty and strength.
The glazed doors make this a display piece, so the back of the carcase becomes a big feature with its book-matched panels.
