Awesome air box fabrication. I wish I had the fabrication skills to make unique stuff like you. I would pay to have a box made. Would need to find a local fab shop to do that for me.

No it wont restrict the air flow, the air inlet is the same size as stock and the airfilter has the same or more surface area as a stock filter. It pulls air right now through the hole in the side of the box for the snorkle tube. I will most likely use 2.5" tube to make the snorkle and i can't see that being a restriction either. Not much, as i had most of the material laying around other than the lexan top which was around $20 and the 2 1/2" hose coupling was around $20 or $30 Thanks for watching and commenting!

BTW, I just ordered a set of gauges so I can keep an eye on critical engine functions. Oil pressure, fuel pressure, voltmeter and GPS speedo (running bigger tires). I'm going to design a 3d printed panel that fits where the stock radio was mounted.
