Hello everyone,
In this episode we meet Raul, the founder of Checkerdsports. He creates and frabricates different bits and pieces for automotive enthusiast. You guys are more than welcomed to check out his website. However, on this episode we take a deep look into his personal car that ended up being showcased at SEMA. Amazing work by Raul and it is clearly displayed by the tons of hours that he put on this chassis. For now, the car will remain the same as he is looking for more seat time at the track. It is amazing to see the labor of love that he has put into this amazing EG. This may look like a civic eg but every corner has been modified. The raw sound this EG makes is really music to the ear, really love this raspy sound from the exhaust, imagine what it would sound like in a long tunnel under full throttle! I LOVE his “thinking” and engineering on this car! It has been completely thought out and it’s fully functional. He knows what to do to get results. Anyone that calls him ricer can piss off- they are just jealous because they WISH they had his mad scientist way of thinking. This is pretty badass! 🤘🏼

It’s a hard job doing these interviews because you need to know something about every car, what questions to ask, etc. Keep up the the good work, and everything will become natural. I think it’s awesome that you’re giving an opportunity for some guys to showcase their builds. I would’ve expected to see Raul’s Honda on an episode of Hoonigans, but good on you for covering it.

U should do a flat bottom front to back. Do a functional rear diffuser. The rear wing idea is good. But you can clean up the looks and maybe have a motorized wing which can adjust the angle of attack as you corner, brake and accelerate.
