When’s the follow up, literally building almost identical build but would love to get some advise (using founders edition 3090) and 5800x and nocuta cooler 😅 should I expect it to get toasty ? (I do have plans to add as many nocuta fans as possible though.

Your video was THE best help I could've gotten for my build, being a first timer (ever) jumping directly into ITX I was scared cause all other videos and articles just fill you with fear and like to overcomplicate it, you did it exactly like any normal person would and that was very comforting and convincing for me, THANKS!!

@@Ahnestly its a pain, but I was able to build a ITX system 3 years ago using a Raijintek Metis Plus and a Biostar A681-350 MB. had a bit of a time doing it, but it came out wonderful. 3 2.5" HD's and a 2GB video card... 8GB memory... I use it for a media player in my bedroom... love it... I ordered the Gold Chassis and I wish I could still get the same one, except in silver this time...

I did a simulare build in this case for 1½ year ago. And it was a pain!!!. Even though my graphic card is a Tuf 1660 super and 2 fans at the bottom. But now im here to see if a Strix 3070 ti can fit in the NP200. And it looks like it can!

This video really helped me out, I used it as a guide to build in the case and it was funny seeing us run into similar problems. It was my first time building a PC in such a small case, so it was a real lifesaver and saved me from the few extra headaches I would've gotten if I had done it on my own. The CPU pin for my board ended up sitting right under the back fan and I ended up having to remove the board to get the pins in, because it would've been borderline impossible to get the pins in otherwise. So pro tip for anyone planning to use an ASRock B550M-ITX/AC with this case, get that CPU cable on before mounting the board in the case. The only issue I had was the cable for the front power botton was a bit finiky, I think it sits a bit loose (on my board at least) and had to remove it and reinsert it on the board to get it working. I've read reviews where other people had a similar issue, so it's a small flaw in what is otherwise a great case.

@Ordorius
@Ordorius 3 года назад
Very detailed video! Was directed here when browsing through instagram. Custom cable sets from Pslates would definetly make the cable management way easier in the NR200. I'm no cable management ninja myself, but with a little more time pre-routing and training the stock cables of the Cooler Master PSU, you could fit the PSU in the SFX position, making you able to top mount two 25mm fans. For example, the 8pin cable could be routed via the top, channelling either behind the PSU. 24 pin can be bent to fit into the channel between the RAM slots and the PSU cage, PSU cables have to be bent and folded afterwards to be managed and plugged in. Cheers!
@Ahnestly
@Ahnestly 3 года назад
The biggest problem with the PSU position is that they come out of the power supply pretty rigid, so they end up pushing against the GPU, causing it to sag. As long as a cable can bend super tight at the power supply area, you should be fine!

@ronnielamkin727
@ronnielamkin727 2 года назад
Suggestion: Pass the CPU cable behind the motherboard. It will give you a little more cable and make it look better. Take off the top railing when attaching the cable and also to screw in your mother board to the case. It will save you some hassle. In addition, that audio cable If you detach the cable from the case in the front then attach it to the motherboard without the extension. This will reduce the amount of cable you have to hide. I tucked everything away next to the PSU and under the front cover. Zip tying everything down makes everything neater and you can bunch cables together. My build is a Ryzen 7 5700G, 32 GB ballistic memory, two M. 2s 1 TB each and two SSDs (1 and 2 TB). Currently, I'm running a push pull configuration with two fans at the bottom and two on the top. However, I'm going to change that next week when I will put in a Be Quiet pure loop 240 mm radiator in the bottom (Be Quiet Pure Loop has an inline pump).

I fit the silverstone sfx-l 1000W plat in there. It’s fine, things fit. I got real good at building in this case as a result because I had to work around it but it will still fit a 330mm card, a radiator, two top fans (the front top has to be 15mm thick) just fine :) Edit: I got the 1000w because a rep at micro center said it’s a must for stability with the 3090 and this is currently the only option.

If you live near a Microcenter I would suggest starting there. I look online to my local Microcenter and it looks like they are starting to get a supply of gpus, not great but something.

Use liquid metal from Grizzly instead. Best choice I ever made, especially for my laptop. 15 degrees lower CPU temperature, no problem.

Confirm your power supply is switched on. Try removing your ram and switch out ram modules, one at a time. Try using a different power supply

yeah want to get a smaller case for my "w11 ready" upcoming pc as well,tho since i love to do some stuff like creating a slideshow off photos family provides i need to find a case with 5.25 slot dvd/bluray capability+ that usuall 2 fans on top combo,but so far if what i found were the sacrificing cases-either to say goodbye for the 2 fans on top or the 5.25 drive slot :(

@@Ahnestly well,some oldeer people like 50+ are still sticking with them,fathers friends just yesterday delivered my father a "w11 ready" (i7-8700k) pc having it,for it was father´s request,speaking of which i found out he still have some usable empty dvd discs. Some people are simply not good friends with latest technologies and i simply kinda have to take into account them as well.

just something to add, the B550I does support PCIE 4.0 storage in one of the slots. the upsell to the X570 is unnecessary in my opinion. great video tho 👍🏼

Thank you very much for posting. Your video just popped up on my list, which turned out perfect. I bought a RTX 3080 Ti FE at Best Buy two days ago (after waiting all night), and the CM NR200 (no P) is the case I want to build in. And all other components are available now. If you have the time to comment (if not, :), I'm thinking of this build: 1. ASUS Maximus VII Impact Mini DTX 2. AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 3. Noctua NS-L12S CPU Cooler 4. RTX 3080 Ti FE Graphics Card 5. SSD - Samsung 1T Pro PCIe NVMe 6. CM V SFX Gold 850 Power 7. 3 x Noctua A12x25 120 Fans 8. Monitor: LG 32GP850-B Ultragear QHD Monitor. So, any and all comments are appreciated. Thank you very much.

about the only thing i do different is attach the power cables to the motherboard, graphic card ets and feed them back to the PSU (can normally plug them into psu autside case and feed back in, find it easier for cable routing)

I'm looking to do a similar build with a ASUS 3060ti. How did the Fuma 2 feel? I feel like it's a great option for me as I have a 3900x.
@Ahnestly
@Ahnestly 3 года назад
Fuma 2 is surprisingly good, but I'm going to have to go with something more robust. When I edit, CPU temps can spike to 90C+ but that's bc this is a $800 processor being cooled by a $50 cooler!

I have the V850 SFX PSU in my rig and I can confirm that the fan is loud. There is no fan curve. It's just off or full blast. I swaped out the 92mm fan in there for a Noctua version and it's dead silent now. FYI, I had to get a PWM adapter for the Noctua fan because the stock fan is only 2-pin. Absolutely no regrets on that mod though. My AIO pump is now the loudest thing in my rig when I'm not gaming (MSI Gaming X Trio fans are kinda loud).
@Ahnestly
