I built a pergola very similar to that a few years back! It took me a lot longer than a weekend though.

You definitely can't go wrong with cedar. It's a little pricey but worth every penny. 👍🏻

THAT'S A BADASS PERGOLA! YOU COULD build another floor on top of it! Cedars is expensive. I'm just using pressure treated limber and staining it with cedar stain......

cracks me up how you say PERGOLA. In Aus we say PER...... GOLA as in PER...GOALA.. like a goal in football.

Great job you guys! Justin, you mentioned in your video that you weren't able to fully drill into the existing slab for one of the footings. How did you work around this with your hammer drill? Also, for those interested in building your design what would your estimated cost of materials be?

Ted had a back up drill that finished it out! For material alone it was about 3500-4000
