I mostly collect LM GT Race cars sports cars or off road rigs, not too much muscle classics but I do get them to trade them for what I like. Also RLC's because the packaging and presentation is nice, Already opened up my 1969 Dodge Charger R/T in Gold to see its true beauty without the package getting in the way. Collecting them is a fun hobby.
Hi, I'm a HWfan, but struggling to collect as the UK, reside very rural, it is impossible to follow any recommendations. Fortunate I started my collecting 40yrs back, sitting on treasure hunts even before HW(&others) started. Yes its a fortune now, but tomorrow? Even my inherited gold jewelry is scrap value as its out of fashion, extremely valuable in the past. Mattel is super in creating artificial madness, pls stay in the short term and making loads by pocketing todays HW madness, but forget LT. I suggest collecting genuine estate internationaly, or provenanced art/memorabilia, but see HW as a fun hobby.
I have been narrowing down what to collect, Zamacs are ones I will still collect, still haven't found the braille TwiMill yet...and our Bugatti collection is growing I'm parting with the Team transport but still collect the 2Packs....Gr8 info
I buy hotwheels solly for collection because I like them,wish U could find a treasure or super bur odds are slim,especially with people grabbing them up to profit which is unfortunate. Regardless my collection grows for my enjoy and to pass down to family to enjoy if they wish to :)
Be like the scalpers and only go after the chase pieces and Super Treasure Hunts!! Like so many people show here on RU-vid on other channels, I can’t stand them!!! They make collecting not fun at all but whatever 🤷🏽♂️
Or you may end up with boxes of unwanted toys doomed to be sold for pennies on the dollar. They can make great gifts if you are around kids , or donation to Toys for Tots.
Have you ever customized any of your cars? I have a few cars I was keeping in box, but then my house flooded and ruined the packaging, so I'm going to open them and repaint them and stuff ;-)

And way to point out the dollar tree,because they rock for hot wheels,and about 5 years ago I found my 1st and only leap year at the local dollar tree I didn't know hot wheels did a leap year
My sister is an assistant manager of one store. If you ask, they can even let you take a look at the boxes even before they put them on the shelves. That gives you the upper hand
Quick tip: make sure to not overprice hot wheels, because you may have what the item that hw collectors wants but the price will make it clear that it is not worth it, I have seen lots of wanted castings in offer for years without being bought because the price was unaccesable.
I do like this video however Hot wheels shouldn’t be used as a money making scheme. You should always put fun over making money on hot wheels. If you want to open them crack them open. Don’t hesitate just because of money. You can’t take money with you to your grave, enjoy what you have whilst you are here!
Not if you're buying them from the store for $1.18 and tax on mainlines and STH/TH that everyone still wants. The mainlines that I have are all worth more than I paid, and that didn't take long, hell a lot of them are worth $20 even open.
so far I found around 30 cases in 2022 alone. i never bought a case before... you just need to know the days of the shipments and you need to be nice to the workers and you will get them!
Dude, if you are trying to make money from hot wheels, don't call yourself a collector,,you are an investor,,plus the value of the cars depend on what part of the world one lives in. I lived in the US and abroad, not the same tastes, a wanted cars in the US, are worthless in other parts of the world.
In some of me videos you can see my buying multiple of the same car not to sell them but to provide them for some collector friends that aren’t able to get them.

Dude, write a script, talk through it, and rehearse it before you shoot. I'm a 1:16 in and you've already basically failed high-school level public speaking on this video. I'm still subscribing, but if you want to keep my sub you need to step up. Also, with re: to the Standard Kart, that's a bad example. They release the exact same version of that car every year. The Enterprise is a better example because it's slightly different every year so it doesn't dilute its own market.
I don't see anything wrong with 1:16 but whatever. The standard kart might not be the best example but its still a car to collect for the future. I appreciate your subscription to me but it wont harm me if you choose to Unsubscribe because I made a speech error. I so far have a nice group of subscribers and i am happy with the comments engaging in thoughts with me. I'd say check out another video of mine before you tell me to step it up. Lastly I appreciate you trying to help me with giving the suggestion to make a script, but it seems like you haven't posted a video on your channel yet... so I don't think you understand how much work it is to make a high quality video.
your not a collector if your collecting for value. it’s hot wheels stop ruining it they are getting too expensive yet matchbox has some very neat cars in factory colours and most of the time they are still 1$
