Its been my goal this year to build up my emergency fund (mix of percentage of wages, cashback sites and side hustles) and this month I've finally hit my target. I feel like now I can relax a bit and let it continue to gain interest. I feel so relieved to not have the pressure on myself anymore to build it up
I remember being so hopeless 😩 when I didn’t have any money to replace my water heater and my credit cards were maxed 😢that was my wake up budgeting moment. Not perfect but I’m glad I started saving up and learned how to live a frugal lifestyle
I can pay every possible expense for the next 5 years from my emergency fund This is a long range plan for younger people, but 6 months is imo a very minimum
