This video is for all you people that wants to build your own in ear monitor system for your band.
After playing live and also in the rehearsal space and getting shitty sounds because of a lot of reason I decided to build a closed, wireless in ear system for my band Psyckadeli. I have seen other people do it and I wanted to try and build it on a smaller budget that they have done it with. so this is the component that I have used...

Splitter: www.musictri.b...
Wireless: www.ld-systems...
Do you want to build a closed wireless
in your system for your band then stick
around and watch this video because I am
going to show you how to do it hi I'm
max haze from the band Psyckadeli and
today I am going to show you my new
creation this is the closed Wireless in
your system that I am going to use with
my band so because you found this video
you probably already know what a closed
Wireless in your system it but if you
don't know here's the quick explanation
the inner system is something that you
will put before the stage box when
you're out playing we're back so
basically what this means is that if you
have a wire coming from a microphone
this microphone will normally go
straight to the stage box but in this
case you will plug it into the XLR
splitter down will split it so it will
go straight to the stage box but also
would go to this digital mixing board
that we used to here in our in-ear
systems so all you need to do is to
split up the signal and have the front
house have its signal and the other
signal goes to the digital mixer with
that said let's continue to the
components of this system first off we
have two XLR splitters basically just
because these have eight channels and we
needed 16 yeah whatever
the most affordable XLR splitters that I
found on market it's the barring the one
I mean it's not rocket science it's just
going to split the cable into so why pay
a lot of money for this and you also
need two of these so it's gonna cost you
a lot of money but the bearing error was
a very affordable price and from the
splitter it goes to the front of house
sticks box and I'm for that I'm just
gonna use one of these cables that just
brings 8 X large to
eight other excel arts the second excel
our signals goes to the RCAF digital
mixer m80 this is really affordable
mixer and you do get a lot of stuff for
this money because you control
everything on an iPad and also although
the band members can have their own
listening in there in air monitors the
good thing is that if you use the
auxiliary outputs on the digital mixer
to hook up the in-ear monitors you can
actually use just a normal phone and set
your own levels within the band also
really good thing with a digital mixer
is that you have all the effects that
you might need to blend in with using
this system so it's really affordable
way to get everything the way you want
the big advantage is that no matter
wherever you're playing you're always
going to be hearing this same thing and
the same mix that you did when you were
in the rehearsal room after playing in
all these venues getting different
sounds every time when I played I really
embraced this system and what it could
do for our band so what I do now is I
used you axillary output and also the
headphones output to hook it up to the
wireless system if you want to know more
on how to use the RCF m18 as a digital
in your mixer then you can check out
another video that i've done with about
this that i would link in the end of
this video so the units to make this
whole system Wireless is the LD
transmitters and receivers this LD
version is not the most expensive one
and it's not the most cheapest one and
you're able to change frequencies which
you can have a lot of use for when
you're using more than one system I had
some troubles when I was hooking this up
and I actually made a video about how to
set it up and guess what I'm gonna link
that in the end of this video as well so
the only component that is left in this
it's the power source that I have up
here it's a really cheap power source
but it was the most convenient one
because I could hook up the power source
coming from the transmitter directly to
the power station I did hook up the
whole system in this rack case because
we had that rat case and also if it
looks so cool but you could actually
make it more convenient because if you
have these transmitters on one platform
you will just have two rack spaces for
those so you would have two Rackspace's
ferrara the XLR splitters two rack
spaces for the transmitters and then two
rack spaces for D digital mixer so if
you have a six unit rack space you can
put all these in what in the
