Great video, my band is very interested in getting this, does anyone know how many tracks you can load onto the device? Say if we had a 45 minute set already recorded all synths and click track would we be able to upload each song straight onto it? Thanks in advance everyone !
hi man i have a rjm midi foot controller, tc gmajor and marshall jmp-1. whats the right connection for these 3 units? rjm midi out to jmp midi in, then jmp midi in to tc gmajor out? thanks in advance'
All I want to know is how to set up the banks to act as a value changer for the scenes. I have bank +1 and bank -1 on two settings on the pedal, but they only go from range 0-102 and I want to toggle up and down the same way the value toggle on the axe fx works. I’ve searched through 10 videos and various forums, I don’t understand why it’s so hard to understand.
Another useful feature of that is that you can use it for in ear monitor mix. You just route the metronome to channels 1/2 and use a mono click track on channel 1, and have your monitor mix come in through inputs 1 and 2 (click still plays normally). No more carrying a separate mixer!
Hi there Thanks for your clip. for using live. we alsways love the loop some parts of a song like 4 chords in the middle to solo. is it posible to loop a part of a song and maybe with the pedal to end the loop to go to the next part of a song? Just ölike a leedsheet after solo to coda bud with open soloparts. Recently my local music place were putting zoom r20 on sale (for the same price as r12). Gotta say this settle all sort of problems I’m having with my audio interface laptop backing track setup.
So ar the time of the video you were using the R8 for practising. Why did you separate the Intro, Verse, Chorus in different tracks if you say you can use markers..so you only needed 2 tracks and time stamp them for intro, verse & chorus, right ?
Hi, I use the R8 zoom for live performances using it as audio playback. In each project I have a WAV file for keyboards (Channel 1 and 2), another for choirs (3 and 4) and another for the click (channel 8). In the last few weeks I been having a problem where the playback suddenly stops and the screen shows me the error "Please, Turn off". This error is not in the manual troubleshooting and I think it is not something related to the SD. what could cause this problem?
But why use a track to record a click track ? Cant I route the metronome click directly to the headphones I dont have have to waste a track on the click ?
I bought an ax-fx XL+ in 2015. I think this device is still very good for me and dont need the new stuff of the III. If i sold my ii for a iii, i will lose lot a money. Cost me 4000$ CAD for the ii. I only playing in my living room alone.
The Axe Fx II is still great. I have the Axe Fx III now but that is only because a guy here in my town that had one for sale. If it wasn't for that I still would have had my Axe Fx II...

how do I avoid or change the settings. when I hit the heel it'll turn on when I move it back and forth it goes from on then it suddenly bypassed then on again. it is so annoying.
Great idea! Do you really need to use stereo on your inear monitoring? I do it quite the same way you described, but only using mono, because I need 7 musicians and one for the athmo microphone - so I can't "waste" a channel for stereo.
It is just me. I hate to hear music in mono. I go idiot after a while. But you can do it that way. But I guess you need to pan out everything then if that is possible. I am not sure if you can get 8 individual mono tracks from 4 stereo tracks. But try it...
I had the same problem and I solved it but I can't remember how I did it. I think I got in contact with RCF and they told me how to do it. So you can do it if I remember correct...

@@PsyckadeliTV Helt riktigt svårsåld trots att IA använde den Freak Kitchen Matthias och många gitarrister, ja gillar design byggd som en tysk tanks. Ser jävligt ball ut o låter väldigt bra förutom mycket oljud surr på flera kanaler 😩
Question: i sing to either an acoustic guitar track or a piano track (i use stereo tracks for each scenario). I want to use this as a track playback device (witha Custom click track) and, ideally, as s full mixer by plugging a mic into channel 1. I could use a battery operated Mic Mech 2 for effects/tone/compression/reverb, but I’m curious…. Do you think that the R8 could function standalone, as a mixer for my voice & tracks ?
Hi. It was a long time since I used the R8. So I'm not sure. I think you can do it. But I can't try it out for you. It is possible to mix the level of the tracks but I'm not sure if you can use it as alive mixer...
Read the frequency chart, go for equal spacing making use of the whole band, then adjust individual frequencies for minimal intermodulation if need be.
I'm using the same model . I use it in mono mode and it was extremely noisy and except that, when I play my keyboard and the playback track (wav mono) together , the signal in my ears is a disaster! Especially in bass frequencies. Does someone know the reason? I'm using Shure se215 . I hope if I turn it in stereo mode with stereo playbacks playing around it may solve that problem.
Hi, i've been searching for a stereo solution for bt and click tracking, is it easy to go through other songs with their own seperate clicktracks Live?
You need to go into the menu and load every song. It takes a little bit longer but it is okey if your song doesn't have to come straight after the other...
