OMG!!!! I am going to do my sprinkler manifold system exactly like this that you designed!!!! WOW!!!! That is super clean and straight forward and simple to operate! Thank you so much for making this video and sharing your knowledge! I have quite a few questions but I’ll come back later to ask! 🙏🏻♥️👍🏻🙏🏻♥️👍🏻🙏🏻♥️👍🏻

Awesome. I am about to do the same project. To start with I will have an 8 zone system. But I am leaving room for futire additions. I think I could end up with 12 zones and if I ever decide to do a garden or landscape flowers...even more.

Very cool project. Looks awesome. So much nicer than the cheap plastic ones that always fall apart or get cracked when the lawn service runs it over with their equipment. Looking forward to making one like yours with a hose bib, etc. Thanks for putting that together.

O My GOD I have been looking at the wood that wore away and all the dirt that caved in around the outside tap that is about a foot and a half down. I have never understood how to make a cement box surrounding it... seeing this I have the clues, the technology, the desire. building two boxes with no bottoms, clamp, spike it in pour the two bags of concrete cover with plastic and walk away till spring hahaha hahahaha a hem and Thank YOU. I think I even have two wine crates in different sizes but not by that much. I need to see the fix once I see it I can do this I'm pretty stoked to try this tomorrow...

Looks great, only comment would be to place that drain valve below the valve cluster so the water will drain completely out.

Looks amazing! Hopefully when you go to service the unit you will never find the valves buried in dirt.

Damn nice work man! This is a million times better than anything you can find at Home Depot. I’ve never even thought of doing anything like this but you made it seem totally doable. What kind of concrete did you use? Anyone think it would be a bad idea to pour a concrete base the size of the box first then put a concrete box on top just like he did his?

Do those filters need to be installed any certain orientation? Upright or upsidedown as you have them?
@YouCanDoIt2
@YouCanDoIt2 5 месяцев назад
That is a great question! The orientation of the filter should not matter at all...as long as you have access to be able to open it up and clean out the filters. Water is forced through these filters prior to going through the sprinklers. Because of this force, it does not matter whether the filter is right side up or upside down, water will flow through it and catch microscopic debris prior to entering any sprinkler system. I hope that this information helps you out 👍.

Have you had any trouble with the orbit valves breaking/leaking? I wanting to purchase one of these, but wanted to know the quality of it. Thank you!

Hi Nate. Thank you for watching the video. I have used these Orbit brand valves and irrigation systems for about 20 years and I have no complaints at all. These are well worth the money and are not very expensive at all. To be honest, I have never tried any other brand, because I haven't had a reason to. I have built several homes and use Orbit for all irrigation. No issues. I hope that this information helps you with your project👍

What about the lid? A girl wants to know😂
@YouCanDoIt2
@YouCanDoIt2 26 дней назад
Hi. Thank you for watching. We ended up putting a metal lid on the top. I custom built it with a hinge system so I could open it and keep it in an open position. I didn’t bother showing that portion because most people don’t have welders. You could make something similar to a deck (much smaller scale) and just set it on top of the concrete box. That would allow you to safely walk on it and also easy to remove for access to the valves. I hope that this information helps 👍
